Our whole mobile series of shear baler and loggers is perfectly sized for cost conscious operators. From its rugged self framed construction, to its automated operating cycles, the Sierra mobile range incorporates features found in machines much more costly. Our highly efficient hydraulic and power unit allow our customers to prepare their material with a low cost per ton ratio. Self mobile equipment allows for local on site operation where the equipment is brought to the material and not vice versa, saving considerable amounts in transportation costs and speeding up the whole process.

Power unit

The most advanced Sierra technology enables us to reach high production levels with relatively small engines. Low fuel consump-tion translates into lower processing costs and therefore into higher margins!

The Sierra power unit is diesel driven on all mobile machines.

The sound of silence All Sierra power packs on the mobile range can be equipped with an optional sound proofing pack. This system reduces noise emissions to less than 95 dba.

Hydraulic unit

The most advanced components and top of the line pumps are used on all Sierra hydraulic units. This technology enables us to use relatively small engines assuring impressive production levels. Sierra uses combinations of variable displacement pumps for high pressure with vane pumps for high speed. This combination has proven to be very efficient and has been adopted on the vast majority of our products

Controlled power The distributor is PLC controlled for optimum and constantly controlled performance.

Structure

Power through unique simplicity The curved door design assures a bigger charging volume than any other competing machine. This translates into higher production capacity.

Control unit

Cabin or no cabin, what’s the problem? Sierra’s mobile shear range can be delivered with or without control cabin. Both options can be equipped with an optional remote control which ensures a true one man operation. Sierra uses Allen Bradley computers (Rockwell group). Their unparalleled superiority has proven to be the most reliable in this industry. These computers are particularly well suited for the scrap yard environment where vibrations, dirt, dust and humidity prove to be fatal for most other systems.
