- 4. Background Information
- How a system is able to function is dependent on the amount and type of parts and how they are assembled.
- A system is actually an interaction of parts.
- Parts come together to make a whole that has properties that the parts do not.
- A system that loses a part of itself is not the same system.

- Take the flashlight out of the box. Turn the lights off and turn the flashlight on.
