Let Us Review:
What are the Two Kinds of Blood
Cells?

Red Blood Cells (RBC)
Function:They carry oxygen and live only for a
few weeks.
Composition:It contains enzymes, minerals, sugars
which give it energy to keep its shape.
It is packed with the protein HEMOGLOBIN which picks up oxygen in the lungs and transports it to all body tissues.

White Blood Cells (WBC)
FUNCTION:Attacks the germs by
surrounding, eating, and digesting them.
Produce antibodies which are chemicals that wipe out microorganisms wherever they may be in the body.
SIZE:WBCs are bigger than RBCs.

What is Circulation?
It is the continuous flow of the blood from the heart throughout the body and back to the heart.

Two pumps (in a single heart) one to pump deoxygenated blood
to the lungs;
the other to pump oxygenated blood to all the other organs and tissues of the body.
