Why Science is so important...

• The UK needs to increase by as much as 50% the number of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) graduates it is creating (BBC article 30 Sept 2012).

• Most children have already decided whether Science is something they want to carry on by the age of 10 (King’s College London 2012).

Vision Statement for Science

At Cage Green Primary School, we want all children to have curiosity and understanding of the world we live in. To have the skills to question, to investigate and explain. To be confident young people who impact the world, leaving it better for future generations.
