Program Goals
• To provide early-stage financing and commercialization support for technology development in early-stage NJ companies
• To grow renewable energy technology businesses in New Jersey
• To promote collaboration between New Jersey academic institutions and start-up companies as well as B2B technical interactions
Edison Innovation Clean Energy Fund
Technologies to be funded• Class I renewable energy technologies that produce or support the
production of renewable or clean electricity generation• Energy efficiency • Solar• Photovoltaic• Wind Energy• Fuel cells powered by renewable fuels• Wave or Tidal Energy• Ocean thermal power• Renewably generated hydrogen• Methane gas from landfills• Geothermal• Sustainable harvested biomass
New Jersey Technology Fellowship Program New Jersey Entrepreneur Fellowship Program
Program Goals
– Recruit and Retain talent in New Jersey– Assist growing technology companies in New Jersey– Build collaboration between universities and companies– Provide an entrepreneurial experience for the fellow
• Open to individuals who recently received PhDs or MBAs from New Jersey universities
• Places PhDs or MBAs in small high tech companies based in New Jersey
• First year pay: $65,000; Second year pay: $75,000• $10,000 expense budget per year
