Welcome to the Reeves, the home of Staines RFC, for this Middlesex Schools Under 12s Festival.
tom brownsellPresident, Middlesex Rugby
This is the fifth U12s Festival, run by the Schools
Rugby Football Union of Middlesex in conjunction with
Middlesex Rugby, and we extend a warm welcome to
players from all 16 schools taking part, and their families.
I am sure that it will be a wonderful day of rugby
fun for all the players, spectators, coaches and I wish
good luck to all the school teams involved.
I would like to thank Staines Rugby Club for
hosting this event and the volunteers from the Schools
Union for organising the Festival.
Thanks are due also to our advertisers and
particularly our sponsors, iLight from Phoenix Sporting
Goods for their support for this Festival, the U13s
Festival which took place at St James School on 27th
November, and our Middlesex Schools’ Finals which
runs from 28th November to 1st December at Allianz
Park, the home of Saracens.

U12s FestiPhoenix Sporting Goods was formed in May
2015 to develop products for grass root
clubs including rugby.
Our success to date has been with the
iLite Metal, a portable, efficient and cost
effective training floodlight that provides
over four hours of optimum training light,
but ten hour of continuous light. These
allow clubs and schools without permanent
floodlights to continue training throughout
the winter months. iLites are easlily
portable allowing schools and clubs to
maintain their pitches as training can be
rotated across several areas.
We are delighted to be associated with
Middlesex Rugby and sponsoring this U12
Festival as in our opinion this is where
grass roots starts.
