SCHOOL OF PHARMACY DEVI AHILYA VISHWAVIDYALAYA, INDORE (M.P.) As a part of the grooming program for students of School of Pharmacy another event of storytelling was organized in the premises recently, for I, III, V and VII semester B. Pharm. students was organized on 10. 08.2013 from 3:15 to 5:15 p.m. Fankaar group attempted to bring back the dying art of storytelling to make people realize that the world is not all about that we see but it’s about what we feel. The key elements of the event are summarized as follows: It began with "LOOTERA"- a story of a thief who is elated on realizing that he is a changed man and feels good in helping a needy is suddenly brought back to the reality where he finds himself dreaming. The other story "KOLUSHA" dealt with the obscene reality of the society which builds up its vague views about any person. It portrayed the pathetic condition of a woman who stared at her son’s cemetery every time with guilt that she was responsible for his death. The last story was adapted from the known piece of literature “SATRANGA” which dealt with the fact that we don’t realize the integral value of a person unless he goes far away from us and leaves us with the guilt of not realizing it before. The stories were well supported by unique blend of music which left a lingering impact on the listeners. Overall all the stories touch the nerves of every individual and satisfies the aim of the narrators. The director of the play was Idrak Hashmat. The stories were narrated by Priyanka Chandnani, Kabir, Idrak Hashmat and Music was given by Osho Jain and Arpit Mehta. It imbibed moral values in the students of School of Pharmacy along with the entertainment and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the innovative performance.
