I ___________________________ declare these truths. The courage to be different is noble. I recognize and respect that I am different and that this is the best part of me. It's our perspective and differences that makes us unique.

Self-esteem is the music I choose to surround and uplift my soul. My attitude, perspective, boundaries and wisdom form the shield to protect it. I recognize that others will not always see my difference as an asset; I gracefully embrace that. People are afraid of what they do not understand. Preoccupying myself with what others think takes away from my positive attitude and gift of FreeThinking.

I recognize, as I strive to be my best, that money, grades, and others' opinions are never a measure of my self-worth, talent or actual potential. I will work diligently in my pursuit to “read”, not for a grade, but it is how ‘I’ honor my own future. It is the key to unlock everything; wisdom, truth, deception, history, etc., especially my potential. The more I learn, the more places I will go.

I am not alone during the hardest times of my life. I recognize that the most admired and respected people in History are pioneers who also had humble beginnings, were misunderstood, and overcame adversity. They are my colleagues and my inspiration in times of need.

I look at my life and challenges as an exciting adventure. There is more than one solution to every challenge I face. No matter what happens, even if I have fallen short in life, life is ever forgiving, and I always have a chance to change; a new perspective with every turn.

Success is something I cannot hold in my hand; it is the foundation of my character, for richer or poorer, it is my face. It’s not what I have, it’s what I give; a contagious smile, integrity, goodwill, perspective. It is my eyes. It is the spirit of my heart and my soul. It is my attitude towards everything. It is the meaning behind “my word” and the meaning my signature has to me. It is those moments when I can look people in the face, because in good faith and goodwill I have done my best to do 'the right thing'; that is to have succeeded.

I'm okay with making mistakes. Ironically mistakes are important to strengthen me, prompt discovery, balance my humility, challenge humanity and inspire change. The beauty of life is that it's not a destination of an achievement, but an adventurous journey of ever changing perspective. The challenge is taking the life I was given, even the hardship, setting boundaries,and accomplishing great things. I am prepared to be the best “me” I can be.

My faith is like a mustard seed. It's the smallest of all herb seeds, that grows to be the largest of all herb plants. That is the faith I have in me. What I can conceive and believe in my heart and mind, can manifest into my reality. I am a FreeThinker, multi-dimensional and in harmony with ever changing life. Life is a journey, this is the new beginning to mine.
