Guest Users in UNM Jobs • How to set them up.• Add a comment to the Department

Originator comment field in the action you submit to post.

• Once the posting is approved, click on Guest User tab within the posting

• Then, click on “Activate Guest User”

• Tips and Tricks: • Look at previous postings and hiring

proposals and use them as guides.• Have FHCO look at actions and hiring

proposals before you submit them for approvals.

• Make a note of action and posting numbers to make it easier to search.

Beginning July 1st, 2010 OEO & FHCO began adding the following language to Faculty Hiring Proposals that are approved by OEO after the start date:

"OEO notes that the department is non-compliant with faculty hiring guidelines and the University's

obligation to EEO laws and regulations as the candidate began working prior to the hire being processed through UNMJobs.  We encourage you to remember your responsibility to comply with

these guidelines and regulations when you process future hires."

Does your department have advertisements in publications for continuous recruitment that do

NOT have PRC approval, have NOT been posted in UNM Jobs and are NOT approved by OEO?

• Make sure to complete the Primary Department and Org Code fields

• NSPs that are received without this information are incomplete and will be returned to the department.

• The correct Earnings Code for ALL NSPs is 202• The correct Account Code for ALL NSPs is 2005• September’s NSP deadline is Tuesday, September 7th
