The School of Education at the University of Adelaide is committed to quality programs that are innovative, contemporary and flexible, to meet the professional needs of teachers and education systems in Australia and overseas. The School has a proud history of over 120 years of educational research and teacher education in South Australia.

Our mission is to ensure students graduate with the skills, disposition and knowledge that will allow them to successfully engage young people in learning in the ever changing education environment, both locally and internationally.

The programs offered by the School of Education present opportunities to a range of educationalists including teachers, trainers, academics and educational consultants. The School is expanding into new areas of scholarship, teaching and research engagement based on national priorities such as VET training, curriculum and pedagogical reform, inclusivity in higher education, leadership, IB, History, Languages development and Indigenous Education.
