“Project Wabi Sabi”, “Asterism” and “A Step Closer” are events conceptualised and executed by TRM Year 2 students for their Conventions and Events Management (CEM) module. They partnered with the Singapore Disability Sports Council (SDSC) to promote sports inclusion for persons with disabilities in society and raise funds for SDSC’s sports outreach programmes. The events gave students a real-world opportunity to take charge of the entire event process - from inception to execution - while also giving back to the community.
