Some more reasons to choosea school lunch...
Our Menus
Our menus are carefully thought through to ensurewe get the right balance of dishes, saving ourfavourites, but keeping the menu fresh too. Wecarefully plan and write our recipe books so that ourcooks have clear instructions, some helpful tips, andhandy guidelines. We do allow them to show offtheir culinary flair at times too!
Nutrition
All of our menus comply with the government’snutritional standards. We analyse every one of ourdishes to ensure that we have just the right amountof the 14 key nutrients that will give a child at leastone third of their Guideline Daily Allowance (GDA) ifeaten every day at school over a three week cycle. For more information on nutritional standards pleasevisit: www.schoolfoodtrust.org
Special Diets and Allergies
If your child has a specific dietary need for a medicalreason, we are delighted to provide for them, as thepersonal touch is what we do best! If you would likeyour child to have a school lunch, a medical dietaryrequest form is available from your school'sreception.

Save Your Time and Money
Lots of research has been undertaken to calculatethe amount of time you could save by opting to takeup our school meals. It is also argued that schoollunches are cheaper compared to a packed lunchwith the same level of nutrients... How many hoursdo you spend assembling packed lunches? Do youalways have the fridge stocked with the rightingredients? Well, we are here to take some of thehassle out of the school day. Why not try our serviceand see how you get on?
School Lunches You Can Trust
All of the fresh produce that we use in our menuscomplies with strict standards of animal husbandry, food provenance, ingredient quality and freshness(see overleaf for our ingredient profile). In addition, over 70% of our produce is British, if not local. Thismeans that, not only are the food miles reduced, butalso that the food is “in the pot” very quickly afterbeing picked from the field! It is reassuring that ourfood is good for the body, the environment and thelocal economy!
