Modified 7/27/2021 COVID-19 Mask Wearing Metrics The following metrics have been developed by Monmouth-Roseville CUSD #238 specifically working with the Warren County Health Department (WCHD). The metrics are what we consider our guardrails. Please note these metrics only pertain to mask wearing if the Board of Education chooses to make masks optional. Monmouth-Roseville CUSD #238 will use individual school level metrics for making decisions regarding mask wearing in collaboration with WCHD: School Level Metrics: Grade PK-6 Mask Wearing Metrics One (1) positive case in classroom All students/staff in the class wear masks for 14 calendar days AND daily health pre-certification checks. Four (4) or more cases in a school building at any one time All students/staff in the school wear masks for 14 calendar days AND daily health pre-certification checks. Two (2) or more epidemiologically linked cases in the school within 14 calendar days of each other All students/staff in the school wear masks for 14 calendar days AND daily health pre-certification checks. If weekly youth cases in Warren County increase for 3 or more consecutive weeks Masks MAY be required (in consultation with the health department. Daily health pre-certification checks MAY be required. If weekly county test positivity is greater than 8% Masks MAY be required (in consultation with the health department). Daily health pre-certification checks MAY be required. If weekly new cases are greater than 100 per 100K Masks MAY be required (in consultation with the health department). Daily health pre-certification checks MAY be required. If weekly county overall case numbers increase for two consecutive weeks with a > 20% increase occurring each week Masks MAY be required (in consultation with the health department). Daily health pre-certification checks MAY be required.
