2016 Klamath River Brushing and Prescribed Fire Training Exchange (TREX)

Karuk Radio Repeater at Gunsight Peak Communication Site

Implement controlled burns on private lands to work toward landscape level habitat restoration, using the Prescribed Fire Training Exchange model. 200-1120 acres will be treated depending on burn conditions. Water waiver does not apply on private.

Installation of a VHF 60 watt P25 Repeater with UHF 30 watt link radio at Gunsight Peak Communication Site. Repeater will be placed on a tower owned by State of California. Project will not include any ground disturbance.
