Schedule Dashboard A central scheduling platform for your thermostats.

The Scheduling Dashboard provides you with a flexible and intuitive platform for managing thermostat and power control module schedules. From this dashboard you can edit custom thermostat schedules, associate shared schedules to multiple thermostats, and add event schedules to thermostats and power control relays.

Until thermostats or other Pelican devices are installed and able to communicate with the Pelican Gateway, the app will be limited in functionality.

Usage Graphs View energy consumption and run-time information for your thermostats.

Select Schedule Dashboard either from the main screen or in the Admin menu.

Select Show Calendar to view your schedules on a dynamic calendar. The calendar also allows you to create Event Schedules.

4.2 CREATING A SHARED THERMOSTAT SCHEDULE

Select Schedule Dashboard from the main screen or in the Admin menu.

Select Add New + under Manage Shared Schedules.

Assign a unique name to the Shared Schedule you are creating. Then press Save.

Press Cancel to exit out of the screen.

The Shared Schedule can be set as a Daily, Weekly, or Weekday/Weekend Schedule. Once you select the schedule Repeat option you want, each “day” or “day range” can have up to twelve (12) scheduled set times.

Select the Repeat for this Shared Schedule. There are three available repeat options: Daily, Weekday/Weekend, or Weekly.

Select a “day” or “day range”.

Add your first set time by selecting + New Set Time.

Set up this set time for what you want the thermostat to do when the time starts.

Press + New Set Time to add additional set times.

There are three repeat options for a thermostat schedule: Daily, Weekly, or Weekday/Weekend.

Daily - Each day of the week will follow the same schedule set times.

Weekly - Each day of the week will follow its own scheduled set times. Also known as a 7-day schedule.

Weekday/Weekend - From Monday to Friday the thermostats will follow a set of scheduled set times. On Saturday and Sunday they will follow a different set of set times. Also known as a 5-2 schedule.

Options for a schedule “Set Time”.

Edit TimeSets the time when the thermostat will switch to the scheduled settings at.**Optimum Start is explained below.

4.5 A DEEP DIVE INTO A SET TIME

SystemSets the system setting at this scheduled time. Auto, Heat, Cool, or Off.

Front KeypadSets if the thermostat’s keypad locks or unlocks at this scheduled set time.

+ New Set TimeSelect to add the next set time. Up to twelve (12) set times can be added to each schedule.

Heat/Cool SettingsDepending on the “System Setting,” you can schedule what temperature set points the thermostat will go to at this scheduled time.

Fan SettingsSet the fan setting at this scheduled time. Auto: means the fan will be turned on when calling for Heat or Cool. On: means the fan will run continuously.

DeleteSelect to delete the set time.

Set TimeEach set time is numbered. You can have up to twelve (12) set times per schedule.

Setting the time to Optimum Start tells the thermostat to auto-calculate how to bring the space to the temperature set points at the time selected.

Select Edit Time to set the set time.

If Optimum Start is turned ON then the thermostat will calculate how to bring the space to the temperature settings at the time selected.

If Optimum Start is turned OFF then the thermostat will set the thermostat to the selected temperature settings at the time selected.

Once you have created you Shared Schedule(s) you can easily link the thermostat to that schedule. Once the thermostat is linked to a Shared Schedule, the schedule is uploaded into the thermostat. Changing the Shared Schedule updates all schedules for all thermostats that are linked to that Shared Schedule.

4.7 LINK THERMOSTAT TO A SHARED SCHEDULE

Select the button next to the thermostat you want to link to a Shared Schedule.

Select the schedule option for that thermostat. Off: Not scheduled. Custom: This thermostat has a unique schedule only it follows. “Shared Schedule”: Select the name of the shared schedule you want the thermostat to follow.

The icon next to the thermostat will display the name of the Shared Schedule it follows. Custom if it has its own unique schedule. Or OFF if it is not following a schedule.

4.8 COPY, RENAME, DELETE A SHARED SCHEDULE

You can copy a Shared Schedule into a new schedule, Rename a Shared Schedule, and Delete a Shared Schedule.



Select the menu button in the upper right hand corner.

This menu gives you three options: Rename - allows you to change the name of the shared schedule. Copy - allows you to copy this shared schedule into a new shared schedule. Delete - allows you to delete the shared schedule.

Selecting Rename will provide you with a pop-up where you can assign a new name to the shared schedule.

The top of the calendar shows you the day or day-range you are viewing. To change this view, select the options in the right corner of the calendar.

Each thermostat will show its scheduled set times on the calendar. Thermostats with no schedules will not have any set times. Existing set times can be edited or viewed in further detail by selecting them.

Power relays will have event schedules showing when they will be ON. Selecting an event allows you to edit and view further detail about the schedule.

4.11 REPEATING AN EVENT

Event Schedules can be set to have no repeat or repeat Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Yearly.

A Daily repeat sets the event to repeat each day from the Start Date until the End Date. If the event is indefinite then select None next to End date.

A Monthly repeat sets the event to repeat each month on the day selected. The event will repeat on that day each month until the End Date. If the event is indefinite then select None next to End Date.

A Yearly repeat sets the event to repeat each year on the day selected. The event will repeat on that day until the End Date. If the event is indefinite then select None next to End Date.

A Weekly repeat sets the event to repeat on the days of the weekly you select. The event will repeat on those days until the End Date. If the event is indefinite then select None next to End Date.
