A Visit to Orphanage for Community Services
On the morning of the 7th of August, 2018, student of first year of Rajasthan College of
Engineering for Women, with the lead of four teachers paid a lovely visit to the orphanage at
Jhag for the community services with the motto of What‟s life without helping one another?
Orphanages are an important part of our society as they give children the kind of upbringing
they need regardless of their family situation. Too often children find themselves in a situation
where they don't have parents to take care of them. The reasons can be many but at the end, the
result is the same they become kids with nowhere to go and no way to get the proper care they
need. That is why people need to visit orphanages more often to help out the kids so they don‟t
feel completely left out.
The kind of care given to kids in orphanages varies
depending on their age. Many will take in children
as young as infants and do the best they can to
raise them and give them the proper nutrition and
care they need to grow healthy and strong. As kids
get older they'll be educated, usually in-house.
Classrooms are often set up to teach kids
everything from their alphabet and multiplication
tables to useful vocational skills that will lead
them to solid jobs when they eventually leave.
Students interact with the children of orphanage
and try to know about their life. Students also
donated Notebook, Pencil, Sharpeners; fruits to orphanage children are as a token of love and
spent their time with the children of orphanage.
After interacting with the children at the
orphanage, students learn to be content in life
and not grumble about what they don‟t have in
their lives, the official said. Children are
motivated from a very small age to have a
vision in their lives.
“Our students showed their love and concern for orphanage children. In today‟s world it is very
important to develop values like sharing and caring among students. With the growing
population, the number of orphaned and abandoned children has also increased. Today‟s young
generation should realize it and come forward for the betterment of these children,” the official
said.
The gifts were given to the kids of the Orphanage. The Goodbyes were hard and left the
Orphanage with a mixture of good feelings and sad emotions. The visit encouraged to do more
for the needy and help them. The experience was very memorable. It was an unforgettable trip.

Swatchhta Abhiyan at Bhankrota
The most significant campaign of the Indian government is the "Swach Bharat Abhiyan." At
India Gate, the prime minister of India, Narendra Modi led a pledge of cleanliness. Also, a

Gandhi upon clean and green India. It was first initiated by Narendra Modiji as he took the
broom to clean the dirt at Mandir Marg Police Station. A mantra was given by him, 'Na gandagi
karenge, Na karne denge.' through this campaign, a sense of responsibility has been evoked
among the citizens of India. The campaign was carried out by the Prime Minister at various
places like Varanasi. This campaign has, however, become a 'Jan Andalon' by receiving much
support and citizens turned out in large numbers.
With the dream of clean society our college „ Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women,
Jaipur conducted Swatchhta Abiyan on 2nd October 2014 at Bhankrota on the occasion of birth
Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. This event aimed at spreading awareness among localities of
