AIESEC

AIESEC is an international, independent, not-for-profit, non-political

organization, aiming at developing leadership potential in young

generation. From 1948 until now, AIESEC presents in 120+

countries/territories, works with 8,000 companies worldwide and

empowers 86,000 members around the world.

AIESEC in Vietnam was founded in 2006. At the moment, we have +600

proactive members from 06 branches in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang.

Founded in 2009, AIESEC FTU Hanoi is having 90+ members from 09

prestigious universities in Hanoi, and has organized many projects for the

youth, such as Global Leadership Activating Day, Global Citizen Summer Camp,

etc.

OVERVIEW

1. What is GLOBAL CITIZEN Summer Camp?

GLOBAL CITIZEN Summer Camp is an annual project run by AIESEC FTU HN with the

purpose of creating an diverse environment through which the youth can have chance

to discover not only the colors of cultures from many countries around the world but

also themselves. Summer Camp involves more than 100 secondary and high school

students in Hanoi and 10 international interns. The 7-day-camp provides an overall

picture of the world diverse cultures in different aspects and interactive activities

enhancing students’ knowledge of global issues and social responsibility.

2. Tentative timeline of Global Citizen Summer Camp 2015

Objectives

Create a culturally diversified environment, offer chances to make friends and build

international friendship.

Enhance self- awareness and soft skill.

Enhance awareness of global issues and give opportunities to take action for bringing

positive social impacts.

Pass on the passion to be a “ Global Citizen”

AMBASSADOR 1. Who is GLOBAL CITIZEN Summer Camp ambassador?

GLOBAL CITIZEN Summer Camp 2015 ambassador – or so-called “Summer ambassador”

- are secondary and high school students recruited by the Organizing Committee

(OC) of Global Citizen Summer Camp 2015, who will enthusiastically support the OC

in particular and AIESEC FTU HN in general in terms of promotion and international

interns engagement. (see detailed Job Description below).

Selected candidates for Summer Camp ambassadors 2015 positions will represent

potential secondary and high schools all over Hanoi to create a platform for the

youth to connect with each other and commit to making positive impacts on society.
