In this regard the assessment structure and examination in our school is explained below: Nursery – II: The complete session will be divided into three terms-First ending in August, 2 nd ending in December & 3 rd ending in March. The assessment of three terms will be done in August, December & March respectively in the form of oral tests and written assignments. The syllabus for all terms is available on school app and school website (davfatehabad.in) Classes III-V: There will be two semesters. One ending in September & second in March. The syllabus for all exams is available on school app as well as school website (davfatehabad.in). The overall result will be prepared by combining all exams (UTs & Semesters). A student will be required to get minimum 33% marks in each subject in comprehensive result for promotion to next class. Exam Schedule: Exam M.M. Weightage Weightage Marks 1 st UT (May) 20 Marks 50% 10 I Semester Exam (September) 40 Marks 100% 40 II UT (December) 20 Marks 50% 10 II Semester Exam (March) 40 Marks 100% 40 Total 100 Classes VI-VIII: Subject Term 1 (MM100) 20 Marks for Internal Assessment + 80 Marks for Half Yearly Exam Term 2 (MM100) 20 Marks for Internal Assessment + 80 Marks for Annual Exam English Internal Assessment (20) :- Periodic Tests (UT) =5 Marks Multiple Assessment =5 Marks Notebook = 5 Marks Subject Enrichment Activities =5 Marks I Term Exam (80) Total = 100 Internal Assessment(20):- Periodic Tests (UT) = 5 Marks Multiple Assessment = 5 Marks Notebook (VI-VIII) = 5 Marks Subject Enrichment Activities =5 Marks II Term Exam/ Annual Exam (80) Total = 100 Hindi Sanskrit/ Punjabi Maths SS Science * The syllabus of I Term which is to be repeated in final exams, will be intimated to the students through app. Note: A student will be required to get minimum ‘D’ grade in each subject in Annual Exam to get promotion to next class. The students placed in ‘E’ grade in any subject will be given only one chance to improve their performance to get minimum ‘D’ grade to pass. Class IX- XII There will be two terms. One ending in October & second in March. The syllabus for all exams is available on school app as well as school website (davfatehabad.in). The overall result will be prepared as per CBSE circular number Acad-51/2021 dated 5 July, 2021 attached herewith.
