The Requirement
• To expand the business, the Chinese trader decided to purchase cars
from Germany. They contacted their bank to get the financial
support they required. But, the bank declined their request, as the
client didn’t meet the banking norms.
• But they advised that if the trader has SBLC in their company’s
favor, then they can get “Import Credit Facility” from their account.
The Challenge
• As per the advice received from the bank, the trader started
searching for SBLC Providers to get SBLC in their company’s favor.
• They searched for the keyword “SBLC Providers” and found BWT on
Google. Further, they contacted us with their request.
• We studied their request in a detailed way and had a virtual meeting
via Google Meet to know about their exact requirements.
The Solution • Being SBLC providers, we understood their requirements and agreed
to provide SBLC MT760 in their company’s behalf to get Import
Credit or Packing Credit from their bank.
• We structured the Standby LC and sent the SBLC draft for their
review.
• The Client reviewed and approved the SBLC draft. Also, they
provided the SBLC issuance fee and other related documents to us.
• Then, we instructed our Bank to issue the Standby Letter of Credit
to buyer’s bank in their favor via SWIFT MT760.
The Result The Client received the SBLC MT760 in their favor and got the required
SBLC Credit from their bank.
With the received credit, they started the importation of cars from
Germany.
