SAY SOMETHING! “TELL IT OUT WITH GLADNESS”
BAPTIST HYMNAL - #369
“Tell it! Tell it out with gladness, God’s good news to every man. Sins forgiven, lives transfigured,
all in God’s great loving plan. In the Book is found the witness
to His mighty acts of yore. Listen, heed, obey, and serve Him;
kneel before Him and adore.
Lord, we thank Thee for the treasure hid within the sacred page.
We would be Thy faithful heralds to our deeply troubled age.
We would publish Thy salvation, ever on Thy side to stand.
Living, serving, giving, sending life to quicken every land.”
There are certainly many different ways to express gratitude every day to God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit! I do pray you have taken time over the last few days to truly be thankful and grate-ful for the many blessings God has poured into your life! But, I also pray you will be intentional in your daily conversations with others about God and specifically, His wonderful love for all people! There may be no bet-ter way to show your gratitude to Him than to share His love and salva-tion with other people! And be sure you are . . . TELLING IT OUT WITH GLADNESS!

Lottie Moon was appointed a missionary to China on July 7th,
1873. She was a bold woman of action and radical obedience who shared Christ with the Chinese people. Lottie died on December 24
th, 1912, leaving a legacy for missions that lives on
today. Her influence led to the establishment of the Women's Missionary Union and also inspired other missions pioneers to join her on the field. Her passionate letter-writing led to the offering that bears her name today – The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions. Some quotes from Lottie: “The sole object of our conversion was not the salvation of our own souls, but the conversion of the world.” “Surely there can be no greater joy than that of saving souls.” “Is not the festive season the most appropriate time to send forth the good tidings of great joy into all the earth?” Together we financially support more than 3,500 Southern Baptist missionaries that share the gospel all over the world. Last year, we took in $15,500 for our LMCO, and this year we have set a goal of $20,000. Our giving to the LMCO enables our missionaries to be sent out to make disciples and multiply churches among unreached peoples and places for the glory of our great God. Last year, IMB missionaries helped to plant more than 4,500 churches where there had previously been none, and they saw 87,000 people from all over the world come to know Jesus. Prayerfully consider how you can participate in the LMCO this year. And thank you in advance for giving to SBC Missions so that we can take the light and love of Jesus into dark places all over the world. Missions… "This is what we were created for." (David Platt)
