Activate the program once, and the system will perform its tasks on a regular basis until the program is deactivated.

Energy Balance You can let the system manage thermal comfort automatically, governing a myriad of factors, all depending on where you live and which direction your windows face.

Airing Enables automatic, natural ventilation 4 times a day, where the roof window's ventilation flap is opened for 10 minutes. If it is raining, the rain sensor will close the windows, but leave the ventilation flap open.

Vacation ModeThe program operates shutters, awnings, blinds and electric light during the day and evening. All you need to do before leaving for vacation is to activate the programme with a few clicks on the touch screen.

Sun ShadingThis program activates all sunscreening solutions to protect the house from solar radiation during the hottest time of the day. This improves comfort and even helps prevent furniture from fading.

Initiate these tasks whenever you like with a one-touch command.

VentingWith the touch of a button you can ventilate your home whenever you like by opening the windows 40% for ten minutes. The windows will close automatically if it starts to rain.

Leaving HomeLeave your house safely with the touch of a button. When you leave, all windows close, roller shutters run down, light is shut off, charger are shut off and locks are secured. You will not have to worry about a thing.

Good MorningWake up to a refreshing new day that starts with 10 minutes of ventilation. Your sun- screening solutions start work by pro viding a pilot light, that lets you get used to the light for 15 minutes.

Good NightWhen it's time for bed, just press a button and let your house tell you goodnight. You get 10 minutes of refreshing ventilation. Then, after 15 minutes, the roller shutters will close for privacy and shading.Finally, your electric light will be dimmed to 80% after 5 minutes, and turned off after 15. Sleep tight!

How we make sure our windows always pass the ultimate test

Nobody tests the way the VELUX Group tests

One reason why VELUX roof windows are so reliable is that we put them through every imaginable test before they have to pass the ultimate test – installation in your home.

All testing work is completed at our own VELUX testing centre, where each individual roof window is inspected. We make sure the window is properly sealed and insulated, in addition to final-checking for flaws in the materials or assembly.

Wind tunnel testing detects any flaws in air and water-tightness.

Manual testing for acoustic insulation.

Testing of the rain sensors that close windows automatically when it rains.

All-temperature durability testing.

Testing for potential sources of electromagnetic inter ference at our state-of-the-art test facilities.

Panes are tested for strength and durability under a 50 kg load.
