What kind of discount voucher codes do they offer?

Everything from gadgets to spa days, to theatre tickets to holidays! They provide voucher codes for the likes of Dell, Argos and the Apple Store!

Savoo.co.uk launched in the UK in 2009, breaking away from traditional PR, we were tasked with developing and rolling out a digital PR campaign that involved establishing

Savoo.co.uk’s UK presence and getting them in front of the press – tier one consumer and trade media. Entering the populated market space for online discount voucher codes during the market downturn, we needed to raise its profile and position Savoo.co.uk to consumer press as a

trusted site that could be relied upon for the best bargains online and the first point of reference for savvy online shoppers and bargain hunters. Additionally, we needed to position Savoo.co.uk as a thought leader

and super affiliate to trade press. And we did.

WHAT WE DID

To truly understand Savoo.co.uk’s USPs we had to understand the voucher space and its audiences.

We carried out an SEO campaign which includedkey word integration and link building with sitesthat ranked highly on Google. We formed partnerships with these relevant media publications and bloggers and offered to

help enhance their site content with value -added editorial for their

readers. All of this increased ranking for keywordson organic search, driving site traffic and voucher click-throughs.

HOW IT WORKED

A packed consumer program – news pieces that

triggered the attention of the press and

consumers!

We researched blogs, communities and media sites to

find out what kind of deals people wanted and when.

We formed relationships with nationals and key vertical publications. We then provided them with creative bespoke content.

We did the social media thing and created

conversations by integrating Savoo.co.uk’s content

and vouchers codes onto appropriate social

channels where relevant – Facebook and Twitter!

We built relationships with trade press, providing thought leadership pieces on the future of online retail. We profiled the new UK team amongst their peers, making them stand out as the industry experts that they are!

We developed a forward planning calendar ensuring we never missed the opportunity to provide great money saving deals around key occasions such as Mother’s Day, Christmas and Half Term.

We placed competitions on key, high traffic

sites, generating product recognition and

driving retail sales.

RESULTSWe generated coverage in tier one consumer, nationals and trade publications including The Times Online, The Travel Editor, Electric Pig, Pocket-lint, netimperative, Marketing Week, and Retail Digital.

We have established ongoing contentpartnerships with high-ranking sites.

Each month we exposed Savoo.co.uk to a uniquemonthly audience, ranging from three million to over 23 million people!
