T he Supporters of the Princess BranDan Concept (SPBC) is a group of volunteers from the residential and business communities who
have pledged their support and time to promote the ideals associated with the Princess BranDan Musical Stage Play:
1. Promoting educational awareness through reading for enjoyment (The Princess BranDan Chapter Story Book and The Princess BranDan Storybook—for ages 8 and under),
2. Promoting educational awareness through curriculum development with emphasis on culturally diverse basic literary knowledge and skills (Princess BranDan Literary Unit),
3. Providing quality family entertainment—The Princess BranDan Musical Stage Play; and,
4. Investing in the human capital (Giving back, at the least, 10% of the net profits, to the community via grants to selected non-profit organizations in education, the arts, and community development corporations)

This story is about a beautiful princess named
BranDan who lives with her father and two
brothers. She is ever so kind, graceful, intelligent, and beautiful. Her mother has been
tricked by an evil sorceress to go deep into the
forest to dance and has been missing for two
years. Her father continues to search for her, but
he doesn‟t know where to look and he hasn‟t told
his children that he fears that she will never
return or why she left.
Princess BranDan loves to dance and her
father will only let her dance the Princess Dance.
She runs away after he sees her dancing in her
own style in the family room. Her quest to find
a place to dance in her own style takes her on an
amazing journey where she meets an old woman and a couple of mischievous princes who
changes the direction of her riding path and leads
her to her final destination.

respectful of others and themselves. We have too many movies where our children are frustrated with no hope in sight. We need to send a new message—a message which focuses on the good and the positive. They can feel good about themselves and the society in which they live. They can feel a sense of equality when it comes to seeing themselves on television and in the movies. When we begin to work together to demonstrate to them that what they become, do, and say is important to us, they will know for certain, that they will not have to take a back seat to any other children in this nation again. They will know that they are loved and protected. When they can look at a movie or play and say “That’s me up there! I’m a princess/prince too!” then we’ll know that we’re on the right track.
The group also includes supporters from the business communities who wish to help establish sponsorship the stage play. Our goal is to make “The Community Circle” a living example for others to follow and to establish its principles throughout this nation. Our objective is to bring the Black community together again socially and financially, and to reclaim our children.

Bilkis Agbelega (Princess BranDan)
Bilkis was born on October 2, 1991, in Lagos, Nigeria. She later moved to the
United States with her family at the age of nine. Bilkis is currently attending
college majoring in criminal justice with a minor in theatre. Growing up she
had so many passions such as singing, modeling, drawing, and sewing, but
the thought of acting never entered her mind. Bilkis’ first choice of instrument
was the guitar; however, after joining the orchestra, she played the violin for
about 4 years. She fell in love with acting in 2005 while in middle school
where she played the part of a maid in a theatrical performance of Annie. In high school,
she was able to secure a role in The Music Man. She recently played film roles in Anonymous
and Blossoms for Clara. Bilkis continues to follow her heart and the advice of a friend who told
her to “Make your dreams a reality.”
Errenda Arredondo (Queen Mia and Wow)
Errenda is from Warner Robin, Georgia and has been performing for local
church audiences for the last decade, but made her debut in her first major
touring play. She is a graduate from Georgia Military College and Central
Georgia College and currently a senior majoring in biology at Fort Valley
State University. She has appeared in such plays as Out of Time and
Christmas in Crumpton Court. She has also worked as a host for the local
T.V Show The 478. You can also get a glimpse of her in the new Movie,
The Ivey League, premiering this fall.
Lamont Crawford (Prince Edward)
Lamont grew up in Muskegon, Michigan, where most of his family still
resides and is a college graduate. He was blessed to have had a loving
mother and father to rear his family of three boys and three girls. His
parents worked very hard in order to give them a decent life. He was
taught to believe that God is the way and answer to all things; a belief that
lingers with him still today and has helped him through all of his tough
times in life.
Watching television played a significant role in his desire to become an
actor or model. At around the age of ten, he would pretend to be an actor
or a model and act out scenes or walk like a model. Now, he receives every
opportunity as a blessing and takes nothing for granted for he knows that one day he will
succeed in his pursuit of becoming a professional actor or model.
Jai'Ana Symone Crawford (Young Princess Chakyra)
Jai‟Ana was born April 3, 2003 and she is the daughter of Lamont and Keisha
Crawford. Jai'Ana is an outspoken and aspiring singer, dancer, and actress.
This is her first appearance as an actress.

N’evaeh White (Young Princess BranDan)
N'evaeh is 7 years old and loves to act and dance. She currently attends the
acclaimed Phusion Dance Company in Decatur, Georgia where she has
performed in their annual end of the year performance at The Porter Sanford
Theater. She has also performed in plays at her church. Her goals are to stay
an A student and to visit Hollywood. This is N'evaeh's first main stage
appearance as an actress.
Para Malden (Princess Chakyra and De'Vila)
Para is a 24 year old Mass Communications graduate from Savannah State
University, with a concentration in radio and television broadcasting. She
currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia, where she works for a non-profit
organization. Para started singing early as a child and will continue to do so
throughout her life. She is currently perusing an acting career and is
determined to never give up on her dreams and goals in life. Para truly
believes that by having God on her side and in her heart, that she can
accomplish anything she puts on her mind.
Timothy Rozier (Prince Aaron)
Timothy Rozier is from Adel, Georgia and is working on his associate degree
in social work at Georgia Perimeter College. He is an aspiring actor and
singer who desires to take his career to the highest level in the entertainment
field. He has also sung backup for Miranda Nicole, and he was a cast member
of the Stage play “Choices.”
Serge Vilmar (Young Prince Aaron)
Serge is an ambitious 3rd grader from Conyers, Georgia. Last year, he played a
principle role as a Dalmatian dog in the play 101 Dalmatians at Lorraine
Elementary School.
Shawn Meekins (Prince Corey and Prince Arsenio)
Shawn is the owner of Meekins Graphics Design Company. Although acting is
his second passion, he is able to convert his conservative personality into
explosive characters on stage with ease. He is a natural when it comes to acting,
giving, and sharing his blessings and gifts with others—his gifts and talents will
always make a place for him on stage and in life.
Ron Gaines (King Joseph)
Ron was born May 12, 1980 in north Philadelphia. He recently relocated to
Georgia from Wildwood New Jersey, and is married to his high school
sweetheart and first love, Charlethia. They are the proud parents of six
beautiful children. Ron is a religious family man who feels complete in every
way. However, he concedes that there are areas in his life where he needs to
grow in more spiritually. This is his first appearance as an actor.
