Alex AgyemangSmall Business Liaison OfficerSavannah River Nuclear Solutions, LLCAlex Agyemang is the Small Business Liaison Officer for Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, LLC (SRNS), the M&O prime contractor at the Savannah River Site, Aiken SC. He is responsible for managing, planning, directing and monitoring the activities of the Small Business Program and key supplier relationships. He has oversight of SRNS’ Mentor-Protégé Program; a DOE/HQ initiative to assist energy related small businesses in enhancing their business and technical capabilities. He is responsible for managing supplier relationships and all supplier development activities to ensure the successful completion of the SRS mission.Alex has served in increasing roles of responsibility. He was the Manager, Strategic Sourcing, responsible for the creation and administration of the Site’s critical material agreements. He was the Lead, Corporate Continuous Improvement, with direct oversight for training and qualifying associates for the Site continuous improvement program. He was the Small Business Program Manager for the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.Prior to joining SRNS, Alex was a senior supply chain planning analyst with the Northrop Grumman Corporation. Some of his major projects were implementing lean-six sigma improvements in the pipe supply chain, leading the Category Management strategy for commodity procurements, and establishing the Capstone Program, a talent management program for high potential employees. He is an APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional.Alex is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and a former Air Force officer. He was the Department of Energy (DOE) FY 2017 and FY 2018 Facility Management Contractor Small Business Program Manager of the Year, the DOE FY 2018 Mentor of the Year, the recipient of the DOE FY 2018 Director’s Award for Excellence and was recognized as the 2019 CVMSDC Coordinator of the Year. Jeffrey M. AllisonDeputy ManagerSavannah River Field OfficeMr. Jeffrey Allison is the Deputy Manager within the Savannah River Field Office. In this position, he assists the Manager in formulating and executing policies and programs and developing new technologies that directly support long-range Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration national security missions and future tritium production capabilities to meet stockpile requirements.A career member of the Senior Executive Service since 1999, Mr. Allison has more than 35 years of experience in engineering, safety, health, process development and management of DOE nuclear facilities, including chemical processing facilities, waste management facilities and laboratories. Prior to his current assignment, Mr. Allison served as the Senior Program Advisor within the Office of Material Management and Minimization (NA-23. In this capacity, Mr. Allison served as the Source Evaluation Board Chair for the Savannah River Site Management and Operations contract recompete; served as the Contracting Officer Representative for all work performed by the Office of Defense Nuclear Non-Proliferation at the Savannah River National Laboratory; and served as the Senior Official for the Office of Material Management and Minimization at the SRS, representing NA-23 in all meetings in SC with local, State and Federal elected officials..Mr. Allison was appointed Manager, SR in March 2003 and served in this capacity until May 2010. As DOE-SR Manager, Mr. Allison oversaw the Site’s environmental management (EM) program, which primarily includes: stabilization and disposition of legacy plutonium and uranium materials; receipt and management of spent nuclear fuels from research reactors in the United States and around the world; treatment and disposition of 37 million gallons of radioactive liquid wastes resulting from over 60 years of nuclear operations; disposition of transuranic waste; soil and groundwater remediation; deactivation and decommissioning of surplus facilities; area cleanup and closures across the Site; and development and deployment of technologies to meet the challenges facing SRS and the Nation in the key areas of national and homeland security, energy security, and environmental management. Mr. Allison also oversaw the management of the Savannah River National Laboratory and was responsible for management of contracts valued at over $14 Billion.Mr. Allison is a 1983 graduate of Princeton University with a B.S.E. in Chemical Engineering. He resides in Aiken, S.C. with his wife Christine and their 3 children.

Lauren AmosVice PresidentPinnacle Specialty GroupPresident-Elect and Acting Executive DirectorETEBALauren F. Amos has over 25 years of business operations and project management experience, with an emphasis in employee management. She is the Vice President of Business Development for Pinnacle Specialty Group, Inc. where she manages all business development activities including opportunity research, proposal development and transiton management. Ms Amos also provides subject matter expertise with business operations. Ms. Amos’ experience is primarily derived from the government and commercial nuclear industries, with specialized emphasis in Department of Energy (DOE) and nuclear power contracting. She monitors safety oversight and manages security requirements for all sites. Ms. Amos has successfully secured contracts in excess of $400M and managed a cumulative 3500 staff support professionals throughout multiple DOE facilities. She manages and supervises day-to-day operations of all business activities, including human resources and contracts management Ms. Amos holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a Minor in Human Resources. She has a DOE “Q” Clearance and has served as a Facility Securitiy Officer (FSO) since 2002.Ms. Amos has been a long-standing supporter with the Energy, Technology, Environmental Business Association (ETEBA) with over 16 years of dedication. She is currently serving as the Acting Executive Director and is the President-Elect of the Board of Directors. Ms. Amos’ dedication shines through with additional involvement including serving 8 years’ as an active ETEBA Board Member, 11 years as the Golf Scholarship Tournament Chairperson and working to start the annual ETEBA-SRS Opportunities Forum.

Matthew J. BiasinyManager, Contracts and Technology PartnershipsSavannah River National Laboratory (SRNL)Matthew joined Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, LLC (SRNS) in 2009 and has contributed in various divisions including Supply Chain Management, Contracts and the Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL). He was appointed Manager of the SRNL Contracts and Technology Partnerships organization in 2016. He and his staff are responsible for the management of the SRNS & SRNL intellectual property portfolios as well as overseeing the negotiation and execution of all collaborative agreements. SRNL has approximately 500 researchers tasked by the Department of Energy with conducting research and development for the federal government and assisting the public, primarily in the areas of environmental management, national security and clean energy. Matthew has overseen the execution of hundreds of agreements, both domestic and foreign, totaling over $60M annually.He is a graduate of Brenau University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Human Resource Management and a Masters of Business Administration and has over fifteen years experience in technology transfer, contract negotiation, global supply chain management, recruitment, and sales in both the government and commercial sectors. In his spare time Matthew enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters and getting in the occasional round of golf.

Anne Marie BirdSmall Business Program ManagerEnvironmental Management Consolidated Business Center (EMCBC)Anne Marie Bird is the Small Business Program Manager for the Office of Environmental Management (EM) Program and an Acquisition Analyst in the Office of Contracting at DOE’s Environmental Management Consolidated Business Center (EMCBC) located in Cincinnati, OH. In her role as the EM Small Business Program Manager, Anne Marie is responsible for supporting and assisting DOE’s Office of Environmental Management and DOE’s Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization in educating and advocating for small businesses, and interfacing on behalf of small businesses with EM’s acquisition professionals. Anne Marie holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Management.

Norbert S. Doyle, MS, MBADeputy Assistant Secretary, Acquisition and Project ManagementOffice of Environmental ManagementU.S. Department of EnergyNorbert S. Doyle is the Deputy Assistant Secretary, Acquisition and Project Management, for the Office of Environmental Management, Department of Energy, located in Washington, D.C. He also serves as the Head of the Contracting Activity. The Office of Environmental Management awards almost $7 billion of contracts annually and has projects valued at approximately $20 billion in support of the world’s largest cleanup program. “Norb” was selected for this positon in April, 2018. He is responsible for project management oversight as well as the contract award and administration processes for all Environmental Management contracts. He joined the Department of Energy in 2015. Norb retired from the U.S. Army as a Colonel in 2008. He is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy, University of Florida, and the Industrial College of the Armed Forces.

Sandra FairchildDirector of Project Services and SupportSavannah River Remediation, LLC (SRR)Sandra Fairchild has provided business management for the Savannah River Site (SRS) for over 30 years, in positions including her current role as Project Services and Support Director for Savannah River Remediation (SRR), the Liquid Waste contractor at SRS.Ms. Fairchild directs all business and project support functions for SRR’s $5.8 billion Liquid Waste program at SRS, including accounting, IT, cybersecurity, supply chain, property management, EVMS, prime contract management, performance baseline, and site interface management.Ms. Fairchild has developed and implemented an EIA 748-compliant EVMS that passed certification in year one of the contract, which was noted by DOE as “Best in Class.” The established systems of accounting practices and procedures resulted in no incurred cost audit findings in eight separate DCAA audits. Other achievements in her organization include exceeding overall small business contracting goals by 35 percent and reduced procurement cycle time for material acquisition by 83 percent using lean management. Lastly, her organization’s Cybersecurity program was named Cyber Security Awareness Champion by the Department of Homeland Security for the last three years.Prior to her current position, Ms. Fairchild was Chief Financial Officer for Washington Savannah River Company. In this role, she developed Congressional budget submissions of $800 million per year with over 10,000 personnel performing diverse nuclear operations.As Chair of the SRR Benefit Committee, Ms. Fairchild manages a $3.1 billion defined benefit pension plan and a $2.2 billion employee 401K plan.Ms. Fairchild is an honorary lifetime member of the Aiken Junior Women’s Club and serves on the board for Children’s Place. She also serves as the Vice Chair of the Energy Facility Contractors Group and serves on the Waste Management Symposia, Inc. Board of Directors.She and her husband, Pete, have two children.

Ashley Hannah, MBASmall Business Program ManagerSavannah River Remediation, LLC (SRR)Ashley Hannah manages the Small Business Program at Savannah River Remediation (SRR), a prime contractor at the Department of Energy’s Savannah River Site in Aiken, South Carolina. Her responsibilities include strategic planning and direction of SRR’s Small Business Program, and developing a diverse, qualified supplier base for the SRR mission. She also manages the SRR Mentor Protégé Program and acts as the SRR Site Coordinator for the Supply Chain Management Center (SCMC)- a collaborative effort that leverages the collective buying power of 21 NNSA and EM sites across the Department of Energy.Prior to her role at SRR, Ashley spent 15 years working for technology-development organizations that produced advanced processes and applications for the Department of Defense, bioscience sector, and other industries. She assisted in the start-up of an incubation program and supported a start-up company investment initiative for the state of South Carolina to support the growth of bioscience and technology-based industries- primarily through small business development. During this time, she supported the establishment of a biotechnology agreement with sister-state Queensland, Australia, and the expansion of a statewide industry association where she served on the Executive Board. She led a coalition representing the state of South Carolina with bioscience industry leadership and supported the establishment of an Industry Advisory Board to support business expansion across the state.After receiving her Bachelor’s, Ashley went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration degree from the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina.

Wayne F. HiattChief, Small Business OfficeU.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Charleston DistrictMr. Hiatt leads and manages the Small Business Programs for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Charleston District. He was appointed to this position January 2019 where he is responsible for maximizing opportunities for small businesses to contribute to national security by providing combat power to our troops and economic power to our nation. He has a patriotic passion to serve Small Businesses and is the point of contact for the Charleston District.Mr. Hiatt is a retired Lieutenant Colonel of the U.S. Army where he served for 30 years (1987-2017) (10 years enlisted / 20 years officer). He served in numerous acquisition positions during his last 12 years in the military, including Contracting Support Brigade Executive Officer, Contracts Manager with Microsoft as part of the Army Training With Industry (TWI) Program, Contracting Team Leader, Contracting Officer, Contingency Contracting Officer, TRADOC Capability Manager and Assistant Product Manager. Mr. Hiatt is also a veteran of Operations Desert Shield/Storm (1990/1991), Operation Iraqi Freedom (2003)(2008), Operation Enduring Freedom in Pakistan (2010) and Operation Freedom’s Sentinel in Afghanistan (2014)(2015).Mr. Hiatt holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Franklin University and a Master of Arts in Management with a concentration in Public Administration from Bowie State University. Mr. Hiatt is a graduate of the Army Command and General Staff College and is an Army Acquisition Corps Member. He has Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level 3 certifications in Contracting and Program Management and Level 1 in in Information Technology.

Jimmy E. McMillianAssistant Manager for Infrastructure and Environmental StewardshipU.S. Department of EnergySavannah River Operations OfficeJimmy “Mac” McMillian, was named Assistant Manager for Infrastructure and Environmental Stewardship (AMIES) for the Department of Energy-Savannah River in February 2019.Mac is a member of the Senior Executive Service and comes to SRS from the Environmental Management (EM) Office of Safeguards, Security and Emergency Preparedness at DOE Headquarters. He managed a staff that assessed the capabilities and compliance of EM sites relative to security and emergency preparedness and had responsibility for DOE Headquarters’ administrative security functions for EM employees. He also developed strategies for implementing DOE security and emergency preparedness policies and facilitated their coordination across all EM sites.Prior to joining the Department of Energy, Mac served 31 years in the Air Force in multiple assignments including Director of Security Forces, and Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics, Installations and Mission Support. He was the focal point for ensuring physical security of nuclear assets and protecting resources from terrorism, criminal acts, sabotage and acts of war. Mac retired from the Air Force in 2009, having achieved the rank of Brigadier General. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, a Master’s degree in Public Administration and a Master of Science in Strategic Studies.

Samuel A. StewartDirectorOffice of Acquisition ManagementU.S. Department of EnergySavannah River Operations OfficeMr. Stewart was named Director of the Office of Acquisition Management in January 2020. In this capacity, he provides overall leadership and direction for oversight of Sa-vannah River Site (SRS) contracts with a total value of over $16 billion. These contracts cover all aspects of nuclear material disposition and environmental cleanup activities on the 310 square mile site. It also includes a nuclear facility construction project with an es-timated value of $2.2 billion, and one of the Federal Government’s largest Energy Savings Performance Contracts valued at over $900 million. Mr. Stewart also directs the effective management of $3.2 billion in Federal property and provides DOE oversight of contractor human capital management activities.Mr. Stewart grew up in Columbia, Missouri and served in the United States Air Force from 1984 until his retirement in 2008. While in the Air Force, his assignments included Tinker, Reese, Whiteman and Shaw Air Force Bases (AFB) working on a number of projects in-cluding the F16 Fighter and serving as the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of the Air Crew Life Support office. Mr. Stewart also served in Operations Desert Shield/Desert Storm in Aldafra AB, UAE.Looking to broaden his career future, Mr. Stewart decided to cross train out of Air Crew Life support and into Contracting. He began his contracting career with the 20Th Fighter Wing, 20th Contracting Squadron at Shaw AFB in SC. During his tenure in the 20Th Con-tracting Squadron he worked in the commodities and construction branches. In May 2001, Mr. Stewart was reassigned to the 509Th Bomb Wing, 509Th Contracting squadron in support of the United States Air Force Only Stealth bomber unit, where he put in place the $35M Simplified Acquisition Base Engineering Requirements (SABER) construction contract. In May 2005, Mr. Stewart received his bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management during his time at Whiteman AFB. After progressing to E-7 Master Sergeant he was promoted to the 509th Contracting Squadron Superintendent and Flight Chief Ser-vices position until he retired in January 2008.Upon retiring from the Air Force, Mr. Stewart came to DOE-SR as the Contracting Officer for the Salt Waste Processing Facility project.Mr. Stewart and his wife, Renee, reside in Edgefield, South Carolina. They have 5 children Michele, Joshua, Kimberly, Samuel and Karol. They also have 7 grand children ranging in age from 1 month to 13 years old.

She has worked over 35 years with Federal, State and Local government agencies and business leaders in different organizations to facilitate as a “Solution Provider” and “Trusted Advisor” in solving all acquisitions and requisitions. She continues to work strategically with many Federal Agencies - Departments of the Army, Army Corp of Engineers, and Air Force; Civilian Agencies – DOE and the Veterans Administration.Jan earned an Associate Degree from Central Carolina College in Business Management, a Master certificate in Government Contracting from George Washington University, and a Master Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University.Mrs.Zeigler currently resides in Sumter, SC supporting the growth of her local community.
