Connectvision Content on Demand

The Connectvision COD application is a powerful and interactive add-on to the main system. It allows users to additionally use digital signage displays to select and watch video content on demand.

Connectvision Tablet

Connectvision provides the capability to leverage tablets as dynamic small form factor display devices. Using the specially created Connectvision Android or IOS Display apps, theseoffer a feature rich and low cost alternative to large screen digital signage.

Connectvision Contribute

The Connectvision Contribute module is a flexible and easy to use addition to the main application. By using a standard web browser, users can manage and sequence playlists of content. Security

Access to all elements of the Connectvision control system can only be achieved using a valid username and password. In addition, all messaging in the system is communicated over HTTP Port 80 and this can be secured by using SSL with certificates. Web access can also be further secured by use of LDAP services.

A diagnostic system dashboard and comprehensive suite of reports provide total system visibility at all times together with added peace of mind that content has been received and successfully displayed.

Live Data

Connectvision is all about reusing data, so there’s no need to recreate information when an application interface exists. It’s easy to extract and display standard RSS and Media RSS feeds. It is also possible to develop custom middleware to automatically ingest data from business systems in real-time. Other bolt-on modules include local weather information, Twitter feeds and Facebook ‘Likes’.

Scheduling

Comprehensive and advanced scheduling capabilities make it possible to control virtually every aspect of the Connectvision solution. Different media files, layouts and timed events can be programmed in any configuration and in advance to appear on screen at certain times of the day and days of the week.

Preview

The assembled layouts, display content and schedule can be previewed on the user’s desktop PC in full motion prior to distribution to the display network.

Layouts

It is simple to create any number of layouts within the Connectvision application and these can be designed and layered into multiple orientations and configurations. It’s possible to segment and zone any number of areas, as well as to stack content within layouts to achieve TV quality visual appearance.
