AUCTIONEER’S REMARKS This very genuine dispersal sale arises following the expiration of Mr Sisson’s Farm Business Tenancy which Staffordshire County Council policy does not permit to be extended. Mr Sisson successfully ran a dairy farm, where he bred pedigree Holsteins. The equipment offered is in good condition. Similarly, there is an entry of equipment from Mr Whieldon of New Springfield Farm, Gnosall whose tenancy has now also ceased. DIRECTIONS Barn Farm is situated between the villages of Haughton and Church Eaton on Alstone Lane. From Stafford and the east take the A518 (Newport Road) and turn left into Bradley Lane, just before the village of Haughton and then take the next right into Alstone Lane, follow this lane for 0.5 miles and the farm is situated on the left hand side on a bend in the road. From Newport and the west follow the A518 through Haughton village and turn right into Bradley Lane as above. From the south and A5 turn right onto Ivetsey Road and then follow this road onto the High Street into Wheaton Aston, at the end of the road turn left onto Roman Road and follow the lane for 2.5 miles. Turn right at the finger post marked for ‘Bradley’ and then turn left at the junction. Take the right turn after 150 yards onto Alstone Lane, the farm is situated on the right-hand side after 0.75 miles. THE POST CODE OF THE SALE IS ST18 9EQ CAR PARKING There is limited parking on the sale site, every effort will be made to accommodate cars and lorries on hard standing. CONDITIONS OF SALE The conduct of the auction in general will be under the auctioneers’ usual conditions of sale as exhibited in the pay office, that is to say, no warranties or guarantees upon the description or condition of any of the items is either given or implied other than a guarantee as to title, which will pass at the fall of the hammer. VALUE ADDED TAX VAT will be added at the standard rate to the sale price on all items. TERMS OF PAYMENT Cheques accompanied by a banker’s card, cash or debit cards will be accepted by the auctioneers on the day of sale. Intending purchasers wishing to pay by cheque and who have no previous trading record with Hinson Parry & Company will be required to produce, prior to bidding, an acceptable banker’s reference, and two forms of proof of identity.
