The Basics Fees

TEST FEE UNUSED TEST FEE

SAT $46 perstudent

$23 for each unused test book exceeding 20% or 20 test books(whichever is greater)

SAT with Essay

$60 perstudent

$30 for each unused test book exceeding 20% or 20 test books(whichever is greater)

Schools won’t receive refunds for unused tests (standard or accommodated). All test books, used and unused, must be returned as instructed in the supervisor manual. These fees may not be applicable to schools participating in a contract.

Fee Reductions for Low-Income Students If you are testing students who meet low-income guidelines, fee reductions and other benefits may apply. Test fees for qualified students are $8 per SAT (without Essay) and $15 per SAT with Essay.

See the following page for more information about benefits for your low-income students.

To redeem fee reductions and other benefits, you’ll need to generate an invoice online and identify students who are eligible for fee reductions; otherwise, your school will be responsible for the payment of all test fees.

Testing Time Students must test in school, starting at the same time, andcomplete the test before lunch is scheduled.

Offering the SAT on a School Day: § Supports equity. When students have the opportunity

to test at their own school, they’re more likely to takethe test. By providing a college admission test in school,you’re also supporting a college-going culture for thewhole school.
