Part 2: The proposal:•What do we currently use in our classroom?•What would we like to have access to?•How would we use these new tools? •How would this impact our learning?
Our collaborative project planPart 1: The video
Students researched how
technology is used today and how experts say it will affect the
future.
Students wrote about their vision of the
future and the impact of
technology on their lives on their blogs.
Students regrouped
common ideas and we wrote a bilingual script for our video
podcast.
Our collaborative project planPart 1: The video
Students worked in pairs
to illustrate their portion of
the script.
Students recorded
themselves reading the
script that went with their
illustration.
We photographed
the illustrations and edited the video together to produce our
final video.
MY LIFE – OUR FUTUREMA VIE – NOTRE FUTUR
Our collaborative project planPart 2: The proposal
We assessed the technology we already have
and how we use it. We also made
a list of our wants and our
needs.
Students researched how
new tools are being used in
other classrooms around the
world.
Students worked on a budget and
drafted a final plan for what we would buy and how we
would use the new tools.
