IT 표준의 중요성

표준의 중요서의 한예로 볼티모어의 대 화재를 들 수 있다. 1904년 볼티모어 시내 중심가에서 화재가 발생하였으나 충분한 소방차를 구할수가 없어, 타 도시에서 가져온 소방차의 호스와 볼티모어의 소화전간에 연결부위의 규격이 서로 달라 사용이 불가능하였다. 이에 따라 초기진화가 가능할 수도 있었던 불길이 대화재로 번져 70개 블록의 1,526동에 이르는 건물이 소실되는 등, 수 많은 인명 및 재산 피해를 입게되었으며, 많은 서구인들이 표준화의 중요성을 깨닫는 계기가 되었다.

IT 표준 준수 및 표준 기반 Solution 의 중요성은 아무리 강조하여도 지나침이 없음

Process 의 End-to-End 모니터링

하나의 프로세스가 여러 개에 걸쳐진 경우 Service를 이용한 Process Orchestration (BPEL)을 이용하여 종단의 모니터링 및 실시간 KPI 파악이 가능 함.
