AUTONOMOUS EMERGENCY BRAKING WITH PEDESTRIAN DETECTION1

This available safety innovation uses a forward camera and radar sensors to detect rapidly closing speeds to the vehicle ahead or pedestrians in your path. If a potential forward collision is detected, audible and visual warning noti� cations will alert the driver. If the driver does not react to avoid the impact, the system can provide full braking assistance at speeds under 75 kilometres per hour (vehicle detection) or under 65 kilometres per hour (pedestrian detection).

Drift outside of your lane without signaling and this available system is designed to inform you with audible and visual cues.

BLIND SPOT DETECTION SYSTEM2 AND REAR CROSS-TRAFFIC ALERT3

The available Blind Spot Detection system uses radar to detect when a vehicle is in the driver’s blind spot and provides both an audible and a visual alert to help keep you aware as you move down the road. When reverse gear is selected, Rear Cross-Traf� c Alert helps identify and warn the driver of vehicles approaching from the side, even before they come into view of the standard rearview camera.

ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL4

For added safety, the available Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) system automatically and continuously adjusts your pre-set driving speed to maintain a pre-determined distance from the vehicle ahead. For added comfort in stop-and-go traf� c, ACC will even bring the vehicle to a complete stop and then accelerate again when appropriate, without driver input.
