Student population is 76% Hispanic.

programs(2) Enhancing the ability of patrons to utilize
the library’s resources

Reference staff Campbell Library has no Spanish-speaking staff.

• Procured equipment: Canon Vixia HV30, tripod, mic, editing software
• Created video: script, translation, narration, finding/scheduling/filming volunteer actors, rescheduling, editing
Next Steps
• Distribute DVD package with menu options
• Smart Start will include video in curriculum
Future applications may include video orientations for other community groups, new staff
