Material suitable for drinking water

do not change the water's compo-

with TrinkwV (Drinking water

ordnance) by UBA positive lists,

DIN 50930 Part 6, DIN EN 1717,

KTW (Plastics in drinking water) etc.

Thermal disinfection

Thermal disinfection should incorporate

the entire system including all outlet

valves. Legionella is quickly killed off

at a temperature of ≥ 70 °C. Each tap

point must be opened and water of at

least 70 °C allowed to run for at least

3 minutes. Thus, water in the drinking

water heater must be heated to more

than 70 °C. Temperature and duration

must be strictly observed. The outlet

temperature at each tap point mustbe

checked. The fittings PURIS E and

VENUS E provide the option for

thermal disinfection.
