The Red Truck Ministry is starting a Saturday schedule the second and fourth weeks of the month. If anyone is interested in helping, please contact the LBA office at 434-316-8382. We will be collecting beanie weenies and tuna for The Red Truck Ministry, which are greatly needed. Fruit cups are also needed. Please remember to check expiration dates.
LBA/WMU Meeting for Missions will be at Rustburg Baptist Church on Tuesday, August 15th at 6:00 p.m. For supper, chicken will be provided. Please bring a side dish or dessert. Judy Bowman will be the guest speaker. She will be teaching practical ways to speak about Christ to others. If you plan to attend, please call the LBA office at 434-316-8382.
The Date For The Prayer Gathering for spiritual awakening for region 2000 has been moved to Tuesday, August 22nd from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at 1701 Thompson Drive near Lynchburg General Hospital. A boxed lunch will be provided so please contact the LBA office at 434-316-8382 to confirm you will be attending no later than Friday, August 18 th. Hope to see you there.
Happy Hearts Salad And Potato Bar will be at the church on Saturday, August 26th at 5:00 p.m. Cost is $3 per person. Sign up by August 20th.
