‘Enough is enough’ says mayor San Ramon Mayor H. Abram Wilson urged everyone at the Tri-Valley Chamber of Commerce luncheon Tuesday to demand that Sacramento stop raiding city and school funds to solve its financial problems. “The state is constantly saying, ‘Let’s take money from the business community.’ We have to stop this,” he said. “We have to talk to our legislators.” (Thursday, Oct. 6, 2009 11:04 AM)
New life for Mudd’s Restaurant Oakland restaurateur Michael LeBlanc presented elaborate plans at the Sept. 22 City Council meeting for replacing the old Mudd’s Restaurant buildings with a two-story Southern-style mansion for weddings, dining and executive meetings. (Wednesday, September 23, 2009, 2:28 PM) How high can our school test scores go? Statewide figures released last month show that from 2008-09, the San Ramon Valley Unified School District showed a gain of 13 points on its Aca-demic Performance Index (API) Report. (Thursday, Oct. 1, 2009, 5:57 PM)
Investigators seeking arson suspectsFire crews were kept busy in the late night hours last weekend, as unknown persons set a number of fires in San Ramon. Firefighters responded to multiple calls of fires that had been intentionally set between 11 p.m. Sat-urday evening and 1:20 a.m. Sunday morning, said San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District spokeswoman Kim French. (Thursday, October 1, 2009, 6:40 PM)
Something fishy rising from the ashes of Mudd’s Comments on Stories, posted by Joe Queirolo, a resident of , on Sep 26, 2009 at 6:29 am Joe Queirolo is a member (registered user) of San Ramon Express Last year, when the City of San Ramon’s Redevelopment Agency proposed to buy Mudd’s Restaurant for $2.1 million from John Ebert et al, the Staff Report* justified the purchase by claiming the building would implement the Crow Canyon Gardens Park master plan by serving as the park’s “nature center”.
Why is Abram Wilson fiddling around as the world burns? Around Town, posted by Joe Queirolo, a resident of San Ramon, on Aug 22, 2009 at 7:31 am About 18 months ago, the City of San Ramon joined an organization now called ICLEI-Local Governments for Sustainability. In joining ICLEI the City pledged to “take a leadership role in promoting public awareness about the causes and impacts of climate change”.

There are two ways to create deli meats: The Kingsley way, and every other way. Kingsley only uses whole breast turkey, ham and top-round beef. We believe in naturally, slow-roasting our meats, hand-rubbed herbs and spices, and never do we spray on flavor. With Kingsley it is just the meat. www.KingsleyDeliArts.com.
