Invite Courtney Perrier-Bear for presentation on Emergency preparedness. (Tribe host an annual emergency incident event) Identified action at annual partnership meeting 10/2014
Completed 07 22 2014 Contact Courtney Perrier – Bear, conference call with Bill Harmon and Matt Moul. 1st step in planning for Emergency Tabletop discussions Status: E mail Communication with Courtney Perrier-Bear, on August 18, 2014, DPS provided the Traffic Incident Management Training 64 emergency responders from the SCAT PD and SCAT EMS/Fire. The next step is to have three, two hour planning meetings (Tabletop discussions). I have given a list of 8 names to Ms. Perrier-Bear, and a staff member from her office will start coordinating these meetings. See next item for continuing steps.

CAG Sept. 2014 Regional Transportation Study/should take 1 ½ year to complete
Start 9/2014 First safety plan Regional transportation plan was approved by councils can be reviewed on website www.cagaz.org First meeting is 4/22/15, globe council chambers a committee has been assembled. Andy mentioned Inviting tribal participation, Charles Russell participated.
Tribal Transit Program has Safety Plan and waiting for Tribal Council approval.
Completed spring of 2014 obtained crash data. Tribal Transit has safety plan being introduced at Tribal Council Completed approved with grant application. Next Step: Transit program research safety funds availability (Bernie to speak to Marvin) Charles could possibly be using funds.

B. Strengthen sharing of information including safety data (e.g. Crash data – provide early and frequent reports to support safety projects). Communicate problem areas and issues to the Partnership and identify risk areas together.

Provide report at annual meeting. Completed Spring 2014 Data reflected: Crash Data completed for Hwy 70 and BIA 6, showing 3 levels of incidents. What level of incidents were the 3 levels? Next step:
Invite Rick Turner, ADOT who works with the Traffic and Criminal Software Systems (TraCS)
Completed 01 27 2015 Next Step: Action Item: 1. Councilman Ferreira, suggested conversations begin with the San Carlos Police Department regarding Traffic and Criminal Software (TraCS). Responsible person: Marvin Mull Status: Michele Crank has added Alejandro Benally, Chief of Police, SCAT to the Steering Committee and has also sent information regarding discussion via e mail on 04 15 2015.

(2) Identify potential funding sources for safety plans
TIGER funds and Railroad could match funds to help develop Safety Diversion Plan and/or Corridor Safety Plan. TIGER due April 28, 2014
TIGER Funds were not applied for per Mr. Mull for April 28, 2014 deadline. Charles Russell completed other funding sources. Next: Pre application May 4, 2015 Due: June 5, 2015 SCAT to apply $30 Mil for route 6 (no match) WMAT considering

(3) Tribe to start participation with AZ SHSP
Action Item: #6 from 01 27 2015 Don Sneed responsible person 6. Obtain information on next meeting of AZ SHSP Natural Risk Emphasis Area Team and send to SCAT Transportation Board and Director.
Status: The following e mail was sent to Mary Tapija and Marvin Mull via Don Sneed: The Natural Risks Team will work to address that issue through strategies and action steps identified in the AZ SHSP. Below is a notice that recently went out to individuals currently participating on the Natural Risks Team. Could you please forward the information on to the San Carlos Transportation Board Members for their reference or provide to me their contact

information? If any tribal representatives are interested in participating on that Natural Risks team (or any of the other teams) I have attached the SHSP EA Team Commitment Card that should be completed and sent to the AZ SHSP Administration Team at [email protected]. The tribal representatives will then begin receiving email notices and updates regarding the team meetings and other AZ SHSP related information. I have also attached a schedule of upcoming meetings for all EA Teams. The AZ SHSP plan document with EA strategies and action steps can be reviewed at this website: www.azdot.gov/shsp. The Natural Risks EA information is located in Appendix B Section 8 of the SHSP. The email included three attachments that Don Sneed will provide to the Steering Committee members at the April 21, 2015, meeting. Next step: Identify who will be participating and what dates they will be attending.

(1) Invite Tribal police/TERO/Tribal reps i.e. environmental/Cultural Preservationist to attend construction partnering workshops.
Provide information to ADOT REs and DEs as they schedule construction partnering workshops.
Completed and ongoing process, partners will inform facilitator as needed when and/or if tribal representation changes. Facilitator will communicate information to DEs for Globe, Safford and Tucson. Communication to partners to give changes to partnership as needed.
