2) State of the CCA Measured Value Input in SET FACTORY MODE

3) CCA Service Procedures

1. Select FACTORY CCA mode on the SET.2. Input the CCA basic engine data to the SET.3. Input the D-White -x, y values in the coordinates per destination.4. Switch the CCA OFF to ON, then check the picture quality and adjust (as listed below) if necessary. From the 100% White Pattern, change the D-White x value to adjust the tint of the Red color:

Higher the value emphasizes the Red color, lower the value weakens the Red color. Find appropriate

value for Red Color. From the 100% White Pattern, change the D-White y value to adjust the tint of the Green color:

Higher the value emphasizes the Green color, lower the value weakens the Green color. Find appropriate value for Green Color.

5. Select WB SPREAD, then press Enter to activate the WB Spread SET ensuring that you adjust until youget the OK sign. After adjusting, exit Factory Mode.

6. When the adjustment is complete, check the picture quality. If necessary change the D-White x,y valuesto the desired tint.

2-8 Side Panel Buttons

The buttons on the side panel control your TVs basic features, including the on-screen menu system.

To use the more advanced features, you must use the remote control.

Press to switch between viewing TV programs and signals from connected components.

Press to see the on-screen menu.

Press to channels and move between items on the on-screen menu.

Press to lower or raise the volume and to select items when using the on-screen menu.

Press to activate (or change) a particulor item.

2-9 Side Panel Jacks

Use the side panel jacks to connect a component that is used only occasionally (a camcorder or video game, for example).

Connect the video signal from a camcorder or video game.

Connect the video signal from a camcorder or video game.

Connect an S-video signal from a camcorder or video game.

(S-Video 3 jack and Audio L/R input 3 are used in conjunction.)

2-10 Rear Panel Jacks

Use the rear panel jacks to connect components such as a VCR. You can connect different components such as VCRs, a Set-Top Box

and a DVD player etc., because there are two sets of video input jacks and three set of component video input jacks on the rear

panel of your TV. For more information, please see Connections.

ANTENNA terminals

Two independent cables or antennas can be connected to theseterminals. Use ANT 1 IN and ANT 2 IN terminals to receive asignal from VHF/UHF antennas or your cable system. Use theANT 1 OUT terminal to send the signal being received by theANT 1 IN terminal out to another component (such as a CableSet-Top Box). The PIP channel can be received only when a signalsource is connected to ANT 1 IN.

S-VIDEO INPUT jacks

Connects an S-Video signal from an S-VHS VCR or DVD player.

VIDEO/AUDIO INPUT jacks (VCR1, VCR2)Connect video/audio signals from external sources, such as a VCRor DVD players.

VIDEO/AUDIO OUTPUT jacks

Sends a video signal from the TV to an external source, such as aVCR.

Note: It is available only in RF, Video and S-Video modes.

Component1, 2 jacks (Y, PB, PR, L, R)

Use these jacks to connect the component video/audio signalsfrom a DVD player or a set top box when using the componentvideo input jacks.

PC AUDIO INPUT jacks

Connect these to the audio output jacks on your PC .

PC VIDEO INPUT jacks

Connect these to the video output jacks on your PC .

DVI (Digital Video Interface) AUDIO INPUT jacks

Connect to the digital audio output jacks for device with DVI

output.

DVI (Digital Video Interface) VIDEO INPUT jack

Connect to the digital video output jack for device with DVIoutput.

HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface)

VIDEO/AUDIO INPUT jack

2-11 Front Panel LED Indicators

The three lights on the front panel indicate the status of your TV.

It takes about 30 seconds for the TV to warm up, so normal brightness may not appear immediately.

The TV has a fan to keep the inside lamp from overheating. Youll occasionally hear it working.
