    Shutter speedShutter speed is the length of time that a camera shutter remainsopen. When you use a slower shutter speed, light enters your camera for a longer time, which makes the photo brighter. You

    will get a darker photo with a fast shutter speed.

    Adjusting the ISO speed 1 8ISO speed is the measure of a lms sensitivity to light as denedby the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Thehigher ISO speed you select, the more sensitive to light your camera becomes. With a higher ISO speed, you can get a better photo without using the ash.

    Restoring photos from the recycle binIf you activate the recycle bin, les you delete will be sent to therecycle bin instead of being deleted permanently (p. 70) . This

    applies to single les or selected les only-if you choose to deleteall les, those les will not be sent to the recycle bin.

    The recycle bin will hold up to 10MB of les. Once you exceedthe 10MB limit, les will be automatically deleted (the oldest le inthe recycle bin will be deleted rst).

    Creating a print orderDene which photos are to be printed and information about thenumber of copies or paper size.

    The memory card can be taken to a print shop that supports DPOF(Digital Print Order Format) or you can print out photos directlythrough a DPOF-compatible printer at home. The wide photos may print with the left and right edges cut off, socheck whether or not they are wide images when ordering prints. You cannot set a DPOF for the photos stored in the internalmemory.
