Project: Self Portrait Illustrator

Brief:  The  assignment  was  to  create  a  self  portrait  including  abstract  background.  I  took  a  photo  of  myself  using  a  low  resolu9on  webcam.  I  opened  the  file  in  Illustrator  and  then  traced  the  basic  shapes  of  my  face  using  primarily  the  pen  tool.  Once  done  I  filled  it  with  gradients  close  to  my  skin,  hair,  and  eye  tones,  and  then  added  minor  details.
