SAMPLE CEREMONIES - 1 Welcome everyone to this very special day. Weddings are wonderful occasions, almost all of us have connections to weddings - for some of us weddings stir up emotions and memories from the past, and for others they bring to mind hopes for the future. Today we come together to join Robbie and Jo on their special day. Ladies and gentlemen friends and family, My name is John Middleton and I'm a authorised Civil Celebrant. “I am duly authorised by law to solemnise marriages according to law. Before you are joined in marriage in my presence and in the presence of these witnesses, I am to remind you of the solemn and binding nature of the relationship into which you are now about to enter. Marriage, according to law in Australia, is the union of 2 people to the exclusion of all others, voluntarily entered into for life.” Marriage is also an agreement to love and support each other to the best of our ability and requires that both people in the relationship work to help each other learn, grow and prosper. These values are summed up nicely in a poem by Wilferd A Petersen’ called ‘From the art of marriage’, which says in part: A good marriage must be created. It is never being too old to hold hands. It is remembering to say ‘I love you’ at least once each day. It is standing together and facing the world. It is speaking words of appreciation and demonstrating gratitude in thoughtful ways. It is having the capacity to forgive and forget. It is giving each other an atmosphere in which each person can grow. It is not only marrying the right person - It is being the right partner. So knowing all of this, I ask Robbie: Will you take Jo to be your wife? To love her, honor and keep her, in good times and in bad; in sickness and in health; for richer, for poorer; forsaking all others; ‘til death do you part?

SAMPLE CEREMONIES - 3 Good afternoon ladies and gentleman and a warm welcome to the wedding of Robbie and Jo. Weare here today to celebrate. Celebrate the love, commitment, friendship, of two people who are in itfor forever. When I asked Robbie and Jo why they chose to get married, they told me that they were ready tomake it official. Because when two people come together in marriage that is exactly what they aredoing. They are declaring their love, shouting it out to everyone, that their love is real and that theyare in it forever. Love is what we all share. It's the great unifier — our one universal truth. That no matter who we are, where we've come from, what we believe, we know this one thing: love is what we're doing right. That's why you both are standing here. That's why you all are here. We have all loved in our lifetimes, and in this moment, we're reminded that the ability to love is the very bestpart of our humanity. Ladies and gentlemen friends and family, My name is John Middleton and I'm a authorised CivilCelebrant.  “I am duly authorised by law to solemnise marriages according to law. Before you are joined in marriage in my presence and in the presence of these witnesses, I am toremind you of the solemn and binding nature of the relationship into which you are now about toenter. Marriage, according to law in Australia, is the union of 2 people to the exclusion of all others, voluntarily entered into for life.” All of us here today have our own love stories. Some are short, others long. Some are yet unwritten, while others are just getting to the good part. There are chapters in all of our stories that are sad ordisappointing — and others that are exciting and full of adventure.Robbie & Jo’s love story embodies all of those things. Brought together by Jo’s mum Liz, Robbie andJo’s relationship started off professional and grew into a friendship, dedicated to their beautifulchildren both did not think love was on the cards, but that friendship, of support, compassion andkindness developed into the love and true dedication we see here today. Although Liz can’t be withus today to witness your union we know she is watching over you both with her warm smile andwishing you well in your future together.

Robbie “I will” Will you Joanne keep Robert’s heart safe - to laugh with him, go on adventures with him, and supporthim through life's tough moments? Joanne “I will” When declaring your love for each other in your decision to spend the rest of your lives together youhave accepted the responsibilities of parenthood towards each other's children. Love is giving, not taking, mending, not breaking, trusting, believing, never deceiving, patiently bearing and faithfully sharing each joy, every sorrow, today and tomorrow.Love is kind, understanding, but never demanding.Love is constant, prevailing, its strength never failing.A promise once spoken for all time unbroken, Love’s time is forever.

Page 9: SAMPLE CEREMONIES - 1 › wp-content › uploads › 2019 › 09 › ...SAMPLE CEREMONIES - 3 Good afternoon ladies and gentleman and a warm welcome to the wedding of Robbie and Jo.

SAMPLE CEREMONIES - 3 Thank you Charlie, and may I also have the rings please? (Mandatory Vows) Robbie, as you place the ring on Jo’s finger, please repeat after me: “I call upon the persons here present,to witness that I, (bride/groom),take thee (groom/bride),to be my lawful wedded (wife/husband)"With this ring I marry you, wear it as a symbol of my everlasting love." SAMPLE CEREMONIES - 4 Good afternoon Ladies & Gentleman and a warm welcome to the wedding ceremony of Robbie andJo - a ceremony they have put together themselves. They welcome you, not only to witness theircommitment to each other, but also to wish them well, and every happiness in their new lifetogether.  Robbie and Jo would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Uncle Joe for allowing them to hold theirwedding here and I think we would all agree that the property looks magnificent and Joe it’s a truecredit to yourself and your wife Betty.  Now, I’ve never met a father who was willing to give up his daughter, so instead I ask, do you giveyour blessing for this marriage? Jo’s Dad –“ I do”Thank you. A marriage is not just about being in love, it is about a commitment that you make to each other fora life time.  Growing and learning together; taking the good times with the bad. A marriage should not be takenlightly; it is a promise to each other that you will stay and see it through. A commitment to marriageis a choice and it should be nurtured daily to help it grow and stay strong. Marriage, according to law in Australia, is the union of 2 people to the exclusion of all others, voluntarily entered into for life.” When a couple decide to marry, often it is because they see the unique qualities, and quirks, in eachother; that others just do not see. It is the way they make each other feel, that is unique to them, andthat no other person can give them. A marriage is the public declaration of a love shared by twopeople, and Robbie and Jo will today declare their unique and eternal love for each other.

Page 11: SAMPLE CEREMONIES - 1 › wp-content › uploads › 2019 › 09 › ...SAMPLE CEREMONIES - 3 Good afternoon ladies and gentleman and a warm welcome to the wedding of Robbie and Jo.

SAMPLE CEREMONIES - 4 I’d now like to ask Robbie’s mother, Jenny, to read a passage from the Bible.Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down,

one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.

Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone?

Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.

A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

Thank you Jenny. And now Robbie and Jo, I have a very important question to ask you both. Robbie, do you take Jo to be your lawfully wedded wife? Will you honour her, love, and respect and protect her. Will you accept her for who she is and who she will be? Do you aspire to nurture her and help her grow as an individual? Will you be honest with her and stand beside her no matter what may come your way? Will you provide a loving stable home for your children, raise them, care for them and help them behappy and loving people? Robbie responds: "I do” Jo, do you take Robbie be your lawfully wedded husband? Will you honour him, love, and respect and protect him. Will you accept him for who he is and who he will be? Do you aspire to nurture him and help him grow as an individual? Will you be honest with him and stand beside him no matter what may come your way? Will you provide a loving stable home for your children, raise them, care for them and help them to behappy and loving people? Jo responds: "I do”

SAMPLE CEREMONIES - 4(Mandatory Vows) Robbie, please repeat after me: “I call upon the persons here present,to witness that I, (bride/groom),take thee (groom/bride),to be my lawful wedded (wife/husband).” (Mandatory Vows) Jo, please repeat after me: “I call upon the persons here present,to witness that I, (bride/groom),take thee (groom/bride),to be my lawful wedded (wife/husband).” Now I ask Charlie to please come forward with the rings. Wedding rings are an unbroken circle of love, signifying to all the union of this couple in marriage. Robbie, please place this ring on the tip of Jo’s finger, and repeat after me: This ring is my sacred gift, with my promise that I will always love you, cherish you and honour youall the days of my life. With this ring, I thee wed. Jo, please place this ring on the tip of Robbie’s finger, and repeat after me: This ring is my sacred gift, with my promise that I will always love you, cherish you and honour youall the days of my life. With this ring, I thee wed. Throughout this ceremony, Jo and Robbie have vowed, in our presence, to be loyal and lovingtowards each other. They have formalised the existence of the bond between them with words spoken and with thegiving and receiving of rings.

SAMPLE CEREMONIES - 5 Good afternoon ladies and gentleman and a warm welcome to the wedding of Robbie and Jo. Weare here today to celebrate. Celebrate the love, commitment, and friendship, of two people who arein it for forever. Ladies and gentlemen friends and family, My name is John Middleton and I'm a authorised CivilCelebrant. “I am duly authorised by law to solemnise marriages according to law. Marriage, according to law in Australia, is the union of 2 people to the exclusion of all others, voluntarily entered into for life.” You don’t have to be married to be committed, we can live our entire lives dedicated to one person, devoted to loving them unconditionally, holding steadfast no matter what. So why are Robbie and Jo here? Why have they chosen to dress up – looking spectacular might I add, in front of their closest familyand friends, and perhaps some curious onlookers in the gardens to get married?  It doesn’t change how they feel for one another- their deep love and commitment is obvious – yethere we are. We're all here to support you, to be proud of you, and to remind you that love isn't happily ever after.  Love is the experience of writing your story. It's not one moment — not even this moment.It's everymoment. There are big moments like saying "I love you" for the first time, and gettingengaged — but mostly a million little ones that come in between the big moments. Falling asleepnext to one another, making dinner together, a bright smile at the end of a long shift at the hospital, awarm hug and a surprise pick-up at the airport, spending holidays with your families … These everyday moments fuse together into one big experience. And that brings them here. A time to pause, look back, and smile at all the moments that broughtthem here. And a time to look ahead at all the moments that are still to come.

SAMPLE CEREMONIES - 5 I’d like to ask Scarlett to read a poem called ‘I will be here’ by Steven Curtis Chapman IF IN THE MORNING WHEN YOU WAKE,IF THE SUN DOES NOT APPEAR,I WILL BE HERE.IF IN THE DARK WE LOSE SIGHT OF LOVE,HOLD MY HAND AND HAVE NO FEAR,I WILL BE HERE.I WILL BE HERE,WHEN YOU FEEL LIKE BEING QUIET,WHEN YOU NEED TO SPEAK YOUR MIND I WILL LISTEN.THROUGH THE WINNING, LOSING, AND TRYING WE’LL BE TOGETHER,AND I WILL BE HERE.IF IN THE MORNING WHEN YOU WAKE,IF THE FUTURE IS UNCLEAR,I WILL BE HERE.AS SURE AS SEASONS WERE MADE FOR CHANGE,OUR LIFETIMES WERE MADE FOR YEARS,I WILL BE HERE.I WILL BE HERE,AND YOU CAN CRY ON MY SHOULDER,WHEN THE MIRROR TELLS US WE’RE OLDER.I WILL HOLD YOU, TO WATCH YOU GROW IN BEAUTY,AND TELL YOU ALL THE THINGS YOU ARE TO ME.WE’LL BE TOGETHER AND I WILL BE HERE.I WILL BE TRUE TO THE PROMISES I’VE MADE,TO YOU AND TO THE ONE WHO GAVE YOU TO ME.I WILL BE HERE. There's a simple premise to the promises that you are about to make: you're vowing to be there. You're teaming up and saying to the other, "Every experience I am going to have, I want you to be apart of."

Page 16: SAMPLE CEREMONIES - 1 › wp-content › uploads › 2019 › 09 › ...SAMPLE CEREMONIES - 3 Good afternoon ladies and gentleman and a warm welcome to the wedding of Robbie and Jo.

SAMPLE CEREMONIES - 5 Will you, Robert, love, trust and honour Jo, grow old with her, and find new reasons to love her everyday? Robbie “I will” And Jo, will you love, trust and honour Robbie, grow old with him, and find new reasons to love himevery day? Jo “I will” Jo and Robbie, you fell in love by chance, but you're here today because you're making a choice.  So Iask that you make your vows to one another. (Mandatory Vows) Robbie, please repeat after me: “I call upon the persons here present,to witness that I, (bride/groom),take thee (groom/bride),to be my lawful wedded (wife/husband).” (Mandatory Vows) Jo, please repeat after me: “I call upon the persons here present,to witness that I, (bride/groom),take thee (groom/bride),to be my lawful wedded (wife/husband).” Robbie and Jo, your journey together will have unexpected twists and turns but if you keep yourvows sacred you will always find your way back to love. Who has the wedding rings today?

Page 17: SAMPLE CEREMONIES - 1 › wp-content › uploads › 2019 › 09 › ...SAMPLE CEREMONIES - 3 Good afternoon ladies and gentleman and a warm welcome to the wedding of Robbie and Jo.

Jo, please take this ring and place it on the tip of Jo’s finger, and repeat after me: "With this ring I marry you, and offer a symbol of my everlasting love." The ring is a symbol of the unbroken circle of love. Love freely given has no beginning and no end, nogiver and no receiver for each is the giver and each is the receiver. May these rings always remindyou of the vows you have taken. Ladies and Gentlemen, Robbie and Jo have declared before me and before all of you, that they willlive together in marriage, they have symbolised it by joining hands, taking vows and by exchangingrings. I therefore, declare Robbie and Jo to be Husband and Wife. Robbie – you may kiss the bride! To conclude the ceremony I invite Robbie and Jo and their witnesses, to sign the Marriage Registerand Marriage Certificate (couple and witnesses sign certificates) <signing> Ladies and Gentlemen it gives me great pleasure to present Mr and Mrs Downes Congratulations!

Page 18: SAMPLE CEREMONIES - 1 › wp-content › uploads › 2019 › 09 › ...SAMPLE CEREMONIES - 3 Good afternoon ladies and gentleman and a warm welcome to the wedding of Robbie and Jo.

SAMPLE CEREMONIES - 6 Welcome everyone.  It is with much excitement that I let you know the arrival of our bride isimminent. I take this moment to remind you all to turn off your phones or other devices. Robbie and Jo have hired a  professional photographer and they are happy to share their photos withyou.  As this is a celebration, Jo and Robbie would like you to enjoy this day by laughing, cheering, clapping whenever you feel the urge. On behalf of Jo & Robbie, I would like to welcome you to this beautiful setting and to this veryspecial occasion for us all.

Human relationships are what matter the most to Jo & Robbie in their lives. One of the mostunderstated but deepest relationships is that between a father and his daughter. And one of the rareoccasions where this relationship is acknowledged is at a wedding ceremony. George represents allof us, he particularly represents his family, but today in a special gesture he symbolises his ownpersonal love for his daughter, Jo. So mindful of this I now ask him…. George, would you please stand. George do you bring your daughter Jo to be married to Robbie? George:  I do…and so does her mother, Elizabeth. SAMPLE CEREMONIES - 6 We are here to offer our support for this marriage, unite their families and to wish them everyhappiness for their life together. They have decided to seal their love with this marriage and have invited us to share in theirhappiness. Real love between a man and a woman is unconditional and perhaps the highestexperiences that is possible to humankind. Such love reduces selfishness, deepens personalities, promotes growth, but above all, gives life newpurposes and meaning especially being a blended family. Marriage understands and forgives the mistakes love is unable to avoid.  It encourages newexperiences and new ways of expressing love through the seasons of life. For Jo & Robbie, marriage is a promise from the heart and mind based on mutual love, trust, respectand the understanding that from now on, each partner will consider each other’s desires and needsas equal to their own. They are both thankful to have found such happiness in each other and they will continue to nurturetheir relationship as it moves through life’s various stages. They will make promises today, whichwill carry them through a lifetime of new adventures and challenges. And now I’d like to invite Scarlett to read a poem called ‘An Uncommon Love’ by Terah Cox. May you have the loveonly two can know, may you go where onlytwo as one may go.May the sun rise and setin your bonded hearts, and the moon never find youtoo long apart.May you cherish each other’sdreams as your own,

SAMPLE CEREMONIES - 6 and turn stumbling blocksinto stepping stones.May you brave life’s mountainsand miles together, may there be no stormyour love cannot weather.May you be lovers and alliesand friends, may your soul’s conversation never end.May you capture on earthwhat’s in heaven above, may your hearts know the raptureof an uncommon love. The next part of the ceremony is The Asking and that is largely what today is about. It is more than acelebration of the love which lives in Robbie and Jo’s hearts today. Today is also about Jo and Robbie being joined together by their hopes, dreams and promises ofwhat will be and proclaiming their intentions for that which tomorrow shall hold. Jo and Robbie, Do you promise to love, respect, assist and look after each other for the rest of youlives? Robbie and Jo respond - ‘We do’ Before Jo and Robbie take their vows, they want everyone to know that is not only the marriage of Joand Robbie but also the joining together of a family. Your presence here is very much appreciated; and the long distances that some of youhave travelled to be here reinforces the love and support you offer to this young couple.  They want you know the important role that each of you have played in their lives and how it is verymuch appreciated. SAMPLE CEREMONIES - 7 At this point, I would like to ask Scarlett to come up to read a passage from the Bible. A reading from 1 Corinthians  Chapter 13:, verses 1-13 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or aclanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith thatcan move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gainnothing.Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is notself-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, alwayshopes, always perseveres. Thank you Scarlett. Robbie and Jo, by coming here today you have taken the initial step in what will be a wonderful andlasting life together. Today you ask for each other’s hand in marriage. The asking as part of the wedding traditionsymbolises the grounds on which the two of you wish to build your relationship. Friends, family and guests, on behalf of Jo and Robbie it gives me great pleasure to welcome you allhere to celebrate the love Jo and Robbie have for each other, and so generously share with all of ustoday. Today we recognise and witness their decision to journey through their lives together as one inmarriage.  “I am duly authorised by law to solemnise marriages according to law. Marriage, according to law in Australia, is the union of 2 people to the exclusion of all others, voluntarily entered into for life.” Marriage is one of the most important obligations that two people can commit to. It’s said that to make a marriage successful you need a strong bond of friendship, a massive dose ofrespect, and a willingness to accept each other’s weaknesses in the same measure in which werejoice in each other's strengths and triumphs. So with us all as privileged witnesses allow me to lead you both and ask; as a couple will youpromise to trust, respect and cherish each other?  We will Will you allow yourselves to grow together by unselfishly encouraging, appreciating and nurturingeach other? Bear with one another and, if anyone has a complaint against another, forgive each other; just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. Above all, clotheyourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christrule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body. The wedding ring is an outward sign of an inward commitment and brings us to another wonderfultradition of the ceremony.  Charlie, may we have the rings please? They have not rushed into this relationship; they took their time because they wanted to be sure thiswas the perfection, the love and commitment they were looking for from a partner for life. This istheir ‘forever’ love. And you don’t have to spend much time in their company to see not only are they best friends butthey do indeed share a deep love for each other, it radiates from them both and the smile on theirfaces speaks volumes. While this ceremony will bind them together legally, the reality is there are no words I can say orpapers they can sign that can ‘make’ them married. A true loving marriage happens deep within your heart, and that takes place a long time before weget to be invited to their wedding ceremony, where they proudly and publicly celebrate that love andlifetime commitment to one another. Despite all of our differences, love is what we all share. It's the great unifier. Good afternoon everyone and thank you for being here today. A special welcome to Robbie’s familywho have travelled here from London.  At this time, we would also like to honour the memory of Jo’s mum, Elizabeth who is here today inour hearts. Marriage, according to law in Australia, is the union of 2 people to the exclusion of all others, voluntarily entered into for life.” Marriage is based on love, tolerance, understanding and truth. It is the sharing of life and all itsfortunes, it is forgiving the mistakes that love is unable to avoid, it is encouraging new experiencesand new ways of expressing love whilst understanding the needs of each other.  It is a partnership between two wonderful individuals that are even better when they are together andthat is certainly the case for the wonderful couple before us today.   Jo and Robbie met during what was a very trying time for Jo and her family – but Robbie proved tobe an enormous support and Jo remembers her mother joking with her after their first appointmentabout the ‘cute doctor’…little did she know she would be marrying him 5 years later! Jo & Robbie have asked Scarlett to share the following Bob Marley reading with us all today, called‘He’s not perfect’. HE’S NOT PERFECT. YOU AREN’T EITHER, AND THE TWO OF YOU WILL NEVER BE PERFECT.

BUT IF HE CAN MAKE YOU LAUGH AT LEAST ONCE, CAUSES YOU TO THINK TWICE, AND IF HEADMITS TO BEING HUMAN AND MAKING MISTAKES, HOLD ONTO HIM AND GIVE HIM THE MOSTYOU CAN. HE ISN’T GOING TO QUOTE POETRY, HE’S NOT THINKING ABOUT YOU EVERY MOMENT, BUT HEWILL GIVE YOU A PART OF HIM THAT HE KNOWS YOU COULD BREAK. DON’T HURT HIM, DON’T CHANGE HIM, AND DON’T EXPECT FOR MORE THAN HE CAN GIVE. DON’T ANALYZE. SMILE WHEN HE MAKES YOU HAPPY, YELL WHEN HE MAKES YOU MAD, ANDMISS HIM WHEN HE’S NOT THERE. LOVE HARD WHEN THERE IS LOVE TO BE HAD. BECAUSE PERFECT GUYS DON’T EXIST, BUTTHERE’S ALWAYS ONE GUY THAT IS PERFECT FOR YOU Thanks Scarlett. A successful marriage is made up of two people, each putting the other beforethemselves and giving to that person 100% first, last, and always. However, as Jo and Robbie’s journey unfolds there will be opportunities and challenges. In those times they will need the support of all of you who have come to celebrate this joyous union. So in the joining of these two families, I ask all of you to take a vow in their presence and in thepresence of each other. Do you pledge to honour and support their marriage and will you always be there for them andembrace them with the love of family and the joy of sharing your lives with them? Guests: “We will.”

Robbie, do you take Jo to be your lawfully wedded wife? I do

Welcome everyone to this very special day.  A very special thank you is being given the two gentlemen who have just walked Amy down the aisle.Bill and Rob, you are both the rocks that Amy has depended upon throughout her life and the lovethat both of you have given Amy over the years has made her the beautiful woman that she is today. There are just a precious few moments in our lives where we feel the need to be surrounded by thepeople that we know and love. Today is one of those moments. All of you gathered here today towitness this union, have shaped the two individuals standing before us in some way. Zac and Amy would like to acknowledge the distance that some of you have travelled in order to behere particularly Zac’s Mum and Dad who have flown from England to be here. It means the world tothem that you have taken time from your busy lives to bless their union. Weddings are wonderful occasions. For some of us, weddings stir up emotions and memories fromthe past; and for others they bring to mind dreams and hopes for the future.  Today we come together to join Zac and Amyon their special day. The love that Zac and Amy havefor one another is powerful, and palpable.  My name is John Middleton. I am duly authorised by law to solemnise marriages according to law. Before you are joined in marriage in my presence and in the presence of these witnesses, I am toremind you of the solemn and binding nature of the relationship into which you are now about toenter. Marriage, according to law in Australia, is the union of two people to the exclusion of allothers, voluntarily entered into for life. Zac and Amy, Marriage is to be a beautiful and sacred expression of your love for one another. Asyou pledge your vows to each other, and as you commit your lives to each other, I ask that you do soin all seriousness, and yet with a deep sense of joy; with the deep conviction that you are committingyourselves to a dynamic growing relationship of trust, mutual support, and caring love that requiresboth people in the relationship to help each other learn, grow and prosper.

The deep love that brings Zac and Amy together today is beautifully articulated in a reading called“Beauty That Is Never Old” which Sarah, Jo’s sister, will read for us today. Sarah:“BEAUTY THAT IS NEVER OLD” BY JAMES WELDON JOHNSONWhen buffeted and beaten by life’s storms,When by the bitter cares of life oppressed,I want no surer haven than your arms,I want no sweeter heaven than your breast. When over my life’s way there falls the blightOf sunless days, and nights of starless skies;Enough for me, the calm and steadfast lightThat softly shines within your loving eyes. The world, for me, and all the world can holdIs circled by your arms; for me there lies,Within the lights and shadows of your eyes,The only beauty that is never old. Thank you Sarah. And now Zac and Amy – it’s your turn! Zac: Will you take Amy to be your wife? To love her, honour and keep her, in good times and in bad;in sickness and in health; for richer, for poorer; forsaking all others; ‘till death do you part? Zac: I will And Amy, will you take Zac to be your husband? To love him, honour and keep him, in good timesand in bad; in sickness and in health; for richer, for poorer; forsaking all others; ‘till death do you part? Amy: I will Then Zac, please repeat after me: I call upon the persons here present to witness that I, Zachary Andrew Cook, take thee, AmyConstance Turlington, to be my lawful wedded wife.

And Amy, please repeat after me: I call upon the persons here present to witness that I, Amy Constance Turlington, take thee, ZacharyAndrew Cook, to be my lawful wedded husband. As a part of today’s ceremony Zac and Amy are exchanging rings. Charlie, Zac’s handsome youngson has been given the important job of taking care of the rings and presenting them at this point.Charlie, do you have the rings? The wedding ring is a powerful symbol- that love is precious. Let these rings serve not as locksbinding you together, but as keys, unlocking the secrets of your hearts for each other to know, andthus bringing you closer together forever. Zac, please take this ring and place it on the tip of Amy’s finger, then repeat after me: With this ring, I take you to be my wife. May this ring always be a sign of our marriage, and of mynever-ending love for you. Amy, please take this ring and place it on the tip of Zac’s finger, then repeat after me: With this ring, I take you to be my husband. May this always be a sign of our marriage, and of mynever-ending love for you. I now declare you to be husband and wife, Zac you may kiss your bride. We are now going to have the signing of the marriage certificates. During this time we ask that youstay seated, and we will be back shortly. <signing> Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you Mr. and Mrs. Cook
