Samantha “Sammy D” Davis is a motivational speaker and thrift scholar of the Institute of American Values on the power of positive thinking with the goal to empower all women to feel beautiful, powerful, and special.

Sammy began her career as an editor of Esquire.com, but soon said goodbye to pursue the road less traveled and launch her first online business: Sammy Davis Vintage.

The site quickly became a go-to digital destination for vintage fashion and secondhand style lovers: Sammy D’s YouTube channel is followed by more than 17,000 subscribers and she has been

featured in national media including The Nate Berkus Show, Arise TV and USA Today. Her e-book, The 100 Best Vintage Shops Online has sold hundreds of copies and she is a host for Vintage HeyDays TV, a retro Americana TV show currently in pre-production.

Sammy founded Lipstick Affirmations, a viral social media campaign of affirmations written with a pen to share a motivational message of self-love, and are each “sealed with a kiss” using her favorite shade of lipstick. Last fall she founded THE AFFIRMATION TOTE as her first product with a motivational message to inspire everyone to "let go of the need to be perfect today.”

Sammy currently lives in NYC and when not writing or lecturing, can be found meditating, running or swimming in her favorite urban sanctuary: Central Park.
