FOSTERCHILD features members Kevin Miller, Danny Beissel,Brian Quinn and Erik Leonhardt and was truly born on July 4th

,

2005, upon the playing of their first show."Coming from different bands, we all knew what we didn't

want to become, but were uncertain of what direction we were headed in musically," saidguitar player Brian Quinn. "Our sound just sort of developed after months of writing andfeeding off one another's style and influences."

FOSTERCHILD's sound and look are reminiscent of a time when rock and rollstill had the swagger and bite, but was less consumed with being of-the-moment. WithMiller's steadfast back beats, Quinn's gritty blues-playing, Leonhardt's thunderous bassriffs and Beissel's melodic harmonies, it seems that FOSTERCHILD has finally found itsfamily in each other and home in good old - fashioned rock and roll.

Framing Hanley features band members Nixon, TimHuskinson, Brandon Wootten, Luke McDuffee and Chris Vest. The "Hanley" in the band's name is a tribute to a friend, AshleyHanley, who died tragically in a car accident in October 2006."Ashley was our biggest fan. She was a tireless promoter of

our music and she was an anchor for us emotionally. She was a best friend tothe band," said Nixon. As another tribute to her spirit and support, the bandcontinues to put her name on each show's guest list. In less than a year, theband has written and recorded their debut album, achieved heavy rotation onSirius' satellite rock station, been played on over 50 radio stations nationwideand they recently broke the top 40 on the active rock charts. Multiple stationscontinue to receive top requests for "Hear Me Now". Framing Hanley's MySpace,YouTube and Purevolume traffic is also growing at a staggering pace.

Grupo Mania is a popular meringue group from Puerto Rico. Theyhave released eight albums, since 1993. The group is composed of thethree brothers of the Serrano - Matos family: Hector Ivan "Banchy",Edwin and Oscar, along with young choreographer Alfred Cotto. Thegroup has won various awards, to include: Tu Musica, Agueybana,

Farandula and Paoli. They also have three triple platinum albums with Sony Records.

Jennifer Pena born in San Antonio and raised in Corpus Christi, started hercareer at the tender age of 11. This talented young lady leaped into thepublic's consciousness in 1995 as one of the performers at a tribute toSelena. Jennifer also sang in the movie "Selena" as the young version ofthe superstar. In 2002, the first single of her album "Libre"was 'Vamos alMundial" (Let's go to the World Cup), Univision Network's official themesong for the 2002 World Cup. The second single, "EI Dolor de tu Presencia"

(The Pain of your Presence) was #1 on Billboard for eight consecutive weeks and thealbum sold more than 300,000 copies, for which she received a Grammy nomination. She was MTV Tr3s's Artist of the Month, performing on Mi TRL and co-hosted the show,as well.

Kritickill features band members: Dave Irons, Donny "Trainwreck"Morse, Bryan "Deno Casino" Koestens, Todd Gardner and Justin"Dynomite" Vernon. The first four members of KriticKili came together in1997 under the name Release. After touring the state they decided topursue a more unique, harder edged genre. In 1999 they went to work on

Page 11: Salute To Our Heroes Media Kit

their new style. They then changed their name to KriticKil1. In 2000 they released athree song demo and rapidly became one of the hottest bands in the Central Texasarea. With a song on the local radio station, 107.3 THE FOX, they started touringrelentlessly. KriticKili has opened up or played with several national acts such asAnthrax, Kittie, Fear Factory, Drowning Pool, Non Point, The Union Underground,Hatebreed and many more. KriticKill has played numerous shows benefiting manydifferent organizations: American Heart Association, welcome home ceremonies andother MWR shows for the troops at Fort Hood.

Maren Morris, although only 17, has been performing live for more thansix years and recorded her first CD at age 14. She also writes her ownmusic and plays guitar in her own band. Her style transcends Rock,Country, Blues and Pop styles, with soulful vocals that invite yet defycomparison to current and past musical performers. Maren attended thefirst ever Grammy Camp, presented by the Recording Academy, as the

only Texas artist invited among 43 students from across the nation. The Camp teamedher with other songwriters, musicians and music industry greats such as producersDavid Foster and Paul Williams. Maren has been paying her dues for years and is finallyearning the respect of her peers and others across the music industry. Those who mightonce have viewed her as a novelty must now reckon with the fact that she has grown inall areas of music; her poignant writing, searing vocals and solid rhythm guitar have allcome of age.

, Mark Chesnutt is one of Country music's true musical treasures. campaign, she has been featured in the newly launched "Wal-Mart Mobile," and she hasachieved Top Ten and Top Five rankings on MySpace and iTunes, respectively. Rissi'sfirst video received significant airplay on CMT and GAC. Rissi's hard-earned success isthe culmination of a lifetime dedicated to music and achievement. For Rissi, life hasbeen about a dream she has had since childhood. She was just 12 when she wrote herGrammy acceptance speech, sealed it in an envelope and vowed not to open it until shecould read it from the stage. That envelope is still in her Bible and, given the careerstrides she's making, it's clear she would be wise to keep it handy.

Tantric a band that garnered a Platinum record (their self titleddebut, featured their #1 single "Breakdown"), a strongsophomore release ("AFTER WE GO") on Maverick Records andconsiderable critical acclaim saw members depart, their label
