• For my project I visited Bolivia and ate at one of the restaurants there. The food I got were Saltenas and they were extremely tasty.

• The primary ingredients in Saltenas are beaf, carrots, peas, and eggs. It is a traditional Bolivian dish and to them is like how a hamburger is like to us in America.

• Bolivian Saltenas are cousins to the Empanada’s and are very similar to other Hispanic cuisines. They are served in almost any Bolivian restaurant worldwide.
