  • RUNNING IN FRANCE, A SOCIAL PHENOMENON

    › 7,8 million French people run at least once a month, 3.4 million of women

    › 1,56 million French people have run a race in 2013*

    In that context, the name of Running Expo changes to become the Salon du Running.

    78 000 runners had visited the expo last year, the event has become the n°1 in France dedicated to sport. Therefore, it seems naturally that in addition to the 50,000 Schneider Electric Paris Marathon runners, it became the annual meeting place for all runners. This show is now clearly destined to all running fans: beginners, joggers, confirmed runners, trailers, etc.

    This change will be accompanied in 2015 by a new communication plan, linked to this new larger range of runners. The aim will be also to propose a stronger experience to visitors thanks to new spaces dedicated to coaching and welfare, a better expo floor map and new animations areas.
