Designers Northern Alliance (DNA) was created to bring together industry, design graduates and academia from the North in a two day inaugural event at the Triangle Manchester in June 2010. This included a series of talks and portfolio surgeries, a question and answer forum with industry experts from high profile design agencies and an exhibition showcasing some of the best graduate talent in the north.
The event showcased a broad range of design communication courses, including graphics, digital media, advertising and animation from top universities in the north west.
Feedback was incredibly positive from the first event with many students being offered work experience and employment.
Following on from the huge success of this event, Salford DNA group have hosted a further three mini networking events over the last year.

Creative industries in the north are always on the look out for outstanding creative talent and where else should they look but graduates from the University on their doorstep.
