SAINT ROSE CHURCH DECEMBER 27, 2020
FromthePastor’sDesk
This weekend we celebrate the Feast of the Holy Family. We commemorate this special couple and their child. They were a family with all the struggles that any family has. Namely, they were like our own families—a carpenter, a housewife, and their precocious child. He even scared them in Jerusalem but He subjected Himself to them and obeyed them. It was probably not easy many a day for the three of them, but then it isn’t for us either. Let us always remember that this family serves for us as a model on which we can mirror our own family experiences. It is not an ideal, but a reality.
MASKSINCHURCH
We continue to strongly urge everyone to wear a mask for your protection. Let us do all we can to stop the spread of the virus while keeping our dependence on God and His divine care.
SECONDCOLLECTIONNext weekend, January 2/3, the usual monthly Church Building Fund Collection will be taken up at all Masses. We thank you for your kindness in the past, and look forward to your continued support. Again, this year, the building fund envelope is provided in your monthly envelope packet.
THE PARISH OFFICE will be closed on Friday, January 1st.
INSYMPATHY Please remember in your prayers Dorothy (Bill) Goedrich and Annie Fietsam. May they rest in the peace of Christ.
