Appeal ~ 2020 A pledge to the Catholic

Services Appeal is a great act

of generosity.

CSA 2020 Pledge Goal: $54,255.00

Total Pledges Made: $43,492.00 (80%)

Balance: $10,763.00

Participation: 166 of 363 households (46%)

Totals as of December 8, 2020

Our goal is 100% participation, which means a complet-

ed pledge card from every household, regardless of your

level of participation. If you have not responded, please

do so as soon as possible. Please keep in mind that any

amount raised over our goal is returned to the parish.

Please continue to pray for the success of this important

effort.

Scrip News— Thank you to our

14 families that purchased Scrip this week.

Our total profit was $115.97. We will still

be placing an order on Sunday,

December 20 with Scrip hopefully coming

in on Wednesday, December 23, but it

can no longer be guaranteed for Christmas.

For 2020 charitable deductions and tax credits, the IRS has

ruled that charitable gifts are deductible only in the year the or-

ganization received the donation. To be considered a charitable

donation for 2020, gifts may be dropped off at the parish office

no later than Thursday, December 31. Mailed contributions must

have a Dec. 31, 2020 postmark.

Christmas Decorating— Please consider helping to dec-

orate our church for Christmas today, December 20. Decorating

will begin after 9:30 AM Mass and will continue until finished.

Many hands make light work! (Please bring along and wear a mask

while working.)

Christmas Mass Times — We will be celebrating three

Masses on Christmas Eve this year (4, 7 and 10 PM) and one on Christ-

mas morning (9 AM) here at St. Michael’s. Our hope is that this will

spread our crowds out and help allow for social distancing. Please re-

member to wear a mask while you are in church to help stop the

spread of Covid-19. We are asking that you call or email the parish of-

fice to signup for your preferred Mass time (or you can sign up in the

back of church at regular weekend Masses).
