EL EVENTH SUN DAY IN ORDINARY TI ME
The Vocations Office of the Archdiocese of Hartford invites everyone to come and pray for an increase to the priesthood in
our Archdiocese, celebrated by Fr. Michael Casey, Vo-cation Director for the Archdiocese. The next Holy Hour will be held on Friday, June 22, at 7 p.m. at the Cathedral of St. Joseph, 140 Farmington Ave., Hartford. Holy Hour will be followed by a light “coffee-and” reception so we have the chance to meet one another. We will also be praying in a special way for Deacons Joshua Wilbur and David Madejski, who will be ordained to the priesthood for our Archdio-cese. Please consider joining the St. John Vianney Vo-cation Prayer Society. Information can be found online at hartfordpriest.com.
“We should consider those moments spent before the Blessed Sacrament as the happiest of our lives.”
- Saint John Vianney
Catholic Relief Services Collection
Thank you for your generous support of the Catholic Relief Services Collection and for helping Jesus in disguise. Your contributions will make a difference for the poor and marginalized around the world. If you missed the collection, it’s not too late to give! Just visit usccb.org/nationalcollections, and click on the “How to Give” link on the left.
First Call: Garrett Hickey &
Heather Modenese
Donations are needed for the “New Beginnings Program”. Each year it provides children in need with brand new clothes to begin the school year. With your donation we are able to help children start school with a bit more self-esteem as we provide each of them 3 shirts, 2 pants, 1 jacket, 1 package of socks, underwear and a gift certificate toward a pair of shoes. We do this lovingly every year as God has given us the grace to do so. Donations may be placed in the collection basket at Mass or sent directly to the Parish Center. Please make your check out to St. Maximilian Kolbe with a memo noting it is for the “New Beginnings Program”. Thank you for your support!
Please remember in your prayers, those men and women who are serving our country so selflessly…
“God, please keep watch over those men and
women serving in the Navy, National Guard, Marine Corps, Air Force, Army & Coast Guard.”
