A R F F G Meditating the Word of God My brothers and sisters may the happiness and peace of the Lord Jesus fill all of you on this Easter Sunday that commemorates the Resurrection of the Lord Jesus. You may wonder why Easter is the greatest of all feasts celebrated during the liturgical year? It is be-cause it commemorates the marvelous Resurrection of the Lord Jesus on the first day of the week. On Easter, we commemorate the most important turning point in the history of Humanity. We honor the fulfillment of the “hope” of every living being, “the manifestation of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.” At that moment, when the fullness of time had arrived, all the faithful believers of the past, present, and future, received the gift of salvation through the grace of God. In fact, Christ has been raised from the dead! He was not only raised from the dead to prove to us that He is God; He was raised to prove to us that “we will not all die, but we will all be changed, in a mo-ment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed”. My brothers and sisters, as we have heard from the Second Reading of the Letter of Saint Paul to the Colossians, because we have been raised with Christ, we should seek the things that are from above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. We should set our minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For we have died in Christ, and our new life is hidden with Christ in God. For us Christians, Easter Sunday is a day of joy. It is a day of joy because of the new life that we have received in Christ through the Sacrament of Baptism. The Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, witnessed by hun-dreds in the early days of the Church, is our proof that one day we will all be united as one eternal family. This life is temporary. What awaits us is so much better and greater. Until we reach that day, let us live the joy of Easter with all our brothers and sisters. Let us make a special effort to reach out to those who do not share in our joy and especially those who have been forgotten so they may man-ifest their joy outwardly as we are doing today. As of today, may you all go forth in the Spirit of Christ and bring the joy of the Lord to all those who touch your lives! Happy Easter! The Lord is risen Alleluia!!

R G Meditando la Palabra de Dios Mis hermanos y hermanas, que la alegría y la paz del Señor Jesús llene sus corazones en este Domingo de Pascua que conmemora la Re-surrección del Señor Jesús. ¿Pueden preguntarse por qué la Pascua es la mayor de todas las fiestas celebradas durante el año litúrgico? Es porque conmemora la maravillosa Resurrección del Señor Jesús el primer día de la semana. En la fiesta de Pascua, conmemoramos el punto más importante en la historia de la humanidad. Honramos el cumplimiento de la "esperanza" de cada ser vivo, "la manifestación de la gloria de nuestro gran Dios y Salvador, Jesucristo". En ese momento, cuando llegó la plenitud de los tiempos, todos los fieles creyentes del pasado, presente y futuro, recibie-ron el regalo gratuito de la salvación por la gracia de Dios. De hecho, ¡Cristo ha resucitado de los muertos! No solo resucitó de los muertos para probarnos que es Dios; Fue criado para demostrarnos que “no to-dos moriremos, pero todos seremos transformados, en un momento, en un abrir y cerrar de ojos, a la última trompeta. Porque sonará la trompe-ta, y los muertos serán resucitados imperecederos, y nosotros seremos transformados ”. Mis hermanos y hermanas, como hemos escuchado en la Segunda Lectura de la Carta de San Pablo a los Colosenses, debido a que hemos sido criados con Cristo, debemos buscar las cosas que están arriba, don-de está Cristo, sentados a la mano derecha. de Dios. Deberíamos poner nuestras mentes en las cosas que están arriba, no en las que están en la tierra. Porque hemos muerto en Cristo, y nuestra nueva vida está escon-dida con Cristo en Dios. Para nosotros los cristianos, el domingo de Pascua es un día de alegría. Es un día de alegría debido a la nueva vida que hemos recibido en Cristo a través del Sacramento del Bautismo. La resurrección de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, presenciada por cientos en los primeros días de la Iglesia, es nuestra prueba de que algún día todos estaremos unidos como una familia eterna. Esta vida es temporal. Lo que nos espera es mucho mejor y mejor. Hasta que lleguemos a ese día, vivamos la alegría de la Pascua con todos nuestros hermanos y hermanas. Hagamos un esfuerzo especial para llegar a aquellos que no comparten nuestra alegría y especialmente a aquellos que han sido olvi-dados para que puedan manifestar su alegría externamente como lo estamos haciendo hoy. A partir de hoy, ¡que todos ustedes salgan en el Espíritu de Cristo y lleven el gozo del Señor a todos aquellos que tocan sus vidas! ¡Felices Pascuas! ¡El Señor ha resucitado, Aleluya!

A MESSAGE FROM DEACON RICHARD My Dear Parishioners, We began our Lenten journey on Ash Wednesday with humility of heart accepting our fragile humanity. Our fore-heads were sealed with ashes in the form of a cross and our hearts heard the invitation: “Repent and believe in the Gos-pel.” Our journey is nearing to its end and we will soon celebrate the great event of the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. We walk together now with great joy, but we gather in different places to celebrate our risen Lord in different ways not physically coming together, but in different places as we celebrate our common believes in our Lord. Nuestras frentes fueron selladas con cenizas en forma de cruz y nuestro corazón oyó la invitación: "Arrepentíos y creed en el Evangelio." Nuestro viaje está llegando a su fin y pronto celebraremos el gran acontecimiento de la muerte y resurrección de nuestro Señor Jesucristo. Caminamos juntos ahora con gran alegría, pero nos reunimos en diferentes lugares para celebrar la resu-rrección de nuestro Señor de diferentes maneras, no físicamente unidos, sino en diferentes lugares al celebrar nuestras creencias en nuestro Señor. Con Dios todo es posible y los jóvenes de hoy en día están viviendo algo como nadie antes había visto. Ellos serán los testi-gos que a las futuras generaciones escucharán sus experiencias personales. Los jóvenes compartirán la buena nueva por la gracia de Dios. Por la resurrección de nuestro Señor podemos estar se-guros de que esto también pasará y la gloria de Dios se reflejará en sus vidas.
