dimos a ti hoy como tus amados hijos. Te pedimos intercedas por nosotros ante tu Hijo, así

We fly to you today as your beloved children. We ask you to intercede for us with your Son,

as you did at the wedding in Cana.

Pray for us, loving Mother, and gain for our nation and world,

and for all our families and loved ones, the protection of your holy angels,

that we may be spared the worst of this illness. For those already afflicted,

we ask you to obtain the grace of healing and deliverance. Hear the cries of those who are vulnerable and fearful,

wipe away their tears and help them to trust.

In this time of trial and testing, teach all of us in the Church to love

one another and to be patient and kind. Help us to bring the peace of

Jesus to our land and to our hearts.

We come to you with confidence, knowing that you truly are our

compassionate mother, health of the sick and cause of our joy.

Shelter us under the mantle of your protection, keep us in the embrace of your arms,

help us always to know the love of your Son, Jesus. Amen.

A R F F G Meditating the Word of God My brothers and sisters, a week ago, we celebrated the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus on Easter Sunday. Today, we are reminded of the free gift of the new birth that we have received; that the free gift was given to us through the love, mercy and grace of our Heavenly Father, that the Heavenly Father gave up His only beloved Son as the sacrificial Lamb; and that through His perfect sacrifice, we may now share in the living hope of our Lord Jesus Christ. In today's First Reading from the Acts of the Apostles made reference to what it was like in the earliest days of the Church, in those days immediately after the glorious Resur-rection of Our Lord Jesus. In that reading, we heard the man-ner in which the Christians of the early Church worshipped. The believers who welcomed the message of Peter, the first Pope, they received the Sacrament of Baptism in order to be admitted into the Body of Christ. They learned and practiced the teachings of the apostles, these being teachings that Jesus had personally taught to the apostles. They worshipped in fellowship. Those who believed in Jesus had to demonstrate their faith by gathering with other believers. They participat-ed in the breaking of bread. In other words, they received the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist. Finally, the believers de-voted themselves to the prayers. From this knowledge, it is made known that what the Church leadership expected of the believers in the early days of the Church was no different than what is expected today. Today's Second Reading from the First Letter of Peter consisted of the first papal document that was sent to the Christians of Asia Minor to explain the new life that is re-ceived through the Sacrament of Baptism. Its purpose was to enlighten the believers so that they may rejoice in the salva-tion and new life that they had received from God. Through the Sacrament of Baptism, we as Christians shared in the death of Jesus so we may share in His life. Having been bap-tized into Christ Jesus, we were baptized into His death. Today's reading from the Gospel of John provided us with an account of what Jesus did after His Resurrection. The reading began by telling us that on the evening that Jesus rose from the dead, He came and stood among His disciples who had gathered behind locked doors. Now, appearing to His disciples during the same evening, He breath upon them the Holy Spirit in fulfillment of His promise to do so after ascending to the Father. Jesus did many others signs in the presence of His disciples, those not being recorded in the Bible. What has been written is enough for us to believe that Jesus came on earth as the Messiah, the Son of God, so that through our believing we may have life in His Name. For it is in the Name of Jesus that we experience our new birth into a living hope, a hope that will never fail us.

R G Meditando la Palabra de Dios Mis hermanos y hermanas, hace una semana, celebramos la Resurrección de nuestro Señor Jesús, el Domingo de Pascua. Hoy, recordamos el regalo gratuito del nuevo nacimiento que hemos recibido; el regalo gratuito que nos fue dado a través del amor, la misericordia y la gracia de nuestro Padre Celestial, el Padre Celestial entregó a Su único Hijo amado como el Corde-ro del sacrificio; y que a través de Su sacrificio perfecto, ahora podemos compartir la esperanza viva de nuestro Señor Jesucris-to. I know it’s been quite different for all of us how we have celebrated the last part of Lent holy week and our Easter celebrations but we are called to reflect in the Scriptures during this holy season. We hear in the gospel how do you Jesus comes to the lord We are hear in the gospel how the apostles were locked up for fear of the Jews during this time we may feel somewhat the same that we are locked up for fear not of any particular group but of something we are on able to see or a completely understand, and sometimes we may be like Thomas in doubt until we see or experi-ence Jesus, see him or hear him in our lives, I would like to share a quote from Mother Theresa Prayer makes your heart bigger until it is capable of con-

taining the gift of God himself. MENSAJE DEL DIACONO RICHARD Espero que todos se mantengan saludables durante esta temporada de Pascua. Sé que ha sido muy diferente para to-dos nosotros cómo hemos celebrado la última parte de la Se-mana Santa de Cuaresma y nuestras celebraciones de Pascua, pero estamos llamados a reflexionar en las Escrituras durante esta época santa. Escuchamos en el Evangelio cómo ven Jesús al Señor So-mos oímos en el Evangelio cómo los apóstoles fueron ence-rrados por temor a los judíos durante este tiempo podemos sentir algo lo mismo que estamos encerrados por temor no a ningún grupo en particular, sino de algo que estamos en capa-ces de ver o entender completamente , y a veces podemos ser como Tomás en duda hasta que veamos o experimentemos a Jesús, lo veamos o lo oigamos en nuestras vidas, Me gustaría compartir una cita de la Madre Theresa La oración hace que tu corazón sea más grande hasta que sea capaz de contener el don de Dios mismo.
