New Members: We are delighted to have you join our parish family! Registration forms are available in the narthex and in the parish office. They can be mailed, turned into the parish office, or dropped in the collection basket. Come by the church office for a Welcome Packet. Mass Intentions: Please stop by the parish office to offer a Mass intention for a loved one. Baptism: Family must be registered and participate in the life of the Parish. For more information on specific requirements, baptismal preparation, class dates and available Baptism dates, contact the parish office.

Matrimony: Arrangements must be made at least six months prior to the wedding date. Couples must schedule an appointment with the parish priest to secure a date on the parish calendar and begin preparation. Hospital/Homebound/Nursing Homes: Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion take communion to the homebound. Family members should call the parish office to inform us about those who are ill.

Altar Flower Donations: To honor or memorialize a loved one with a gift of altar flowers, call or stop by the parish office. Arrangements are $75.

Bulletin and Pulpit Announcements: Items to be published in the bulletin or announced during Mass are due in the parish office by 9:00AM on FRIDAY the week before they are to be published.

Admission is only a side dish or dessert based on the letter of your last name. Be sure to bring chairs, tables, and blankets for sitting. Bring the drink of your choice. Water will be available. There will be games for all ages so it will be a fun day!

Bible Study will resume on September 13th and meet the second and fourth Wednesdays in Hedges hall. Class starts at 10:00am and goes through 12:00 noon. Refreshments and socialization starts at 9:30am. We will continue the study of Jesus and Jewish Roots and folks can "jump in" without prior classes.

LIFE TEEN LAZARUS PROJECT

Archbishop Wilton B. Gregory would like

with an invitation to a Golden/ Diamond

Wedding Anniversary Mass on Saturday

October 7th, 2017 at 12:00 noon at St.

Brigid Catholic Church. A reception will

follow the Mass for the anniversary

couples and their families. Space is

Thank you again for your continuous support of this

mission of charity in our parish. The SVDP food drive was

a huge success. Our food pantry is well stocked, but does

go fast. SVDP will have another drive in November. We

are in need of more disciples. Our next meeting is on

September 11 in Hedges Hall at 7:00pm. We would love to

Youth Music Ministry

High School and Middle School Youth are welcome to audition for placement in one of 3

Choirs. Choir I sings once a month; Choir II sings twice a month; Choir III sings every Sunday.

This is a year-round ministry and we rehearse every Wednesday from 5:30-6:45pm. The Youth Music

Ministry serves at the 10:30am Mass every Sunday.

The Children’s Choir is open to all 2nd through 6th grade students and does not require an

audition. Rehearsals are held September through May on Thursday evenings from 5:30 - 6:30pm. The

Children sing at end of every other month (4 times per year).

Enrollment is ongoing. For more information, or to set up an audition, contact the Director Youth Music,

Every Monday morning, a group

of volunteer members of the parish

clean the church. We need a couple

of volunteers to help vacuum the

church. This only requires an hour

and a half of your time. Please

Los adolescentes de San Mateo están

pidiendo su ayuda. Necesitan recoger 1000

pares de pantalones de mezclilla para el 15

de septiembre. El grupos de jóvenes se

están asociando con el Ministerio de

Lázaro para recoger los pantalones para

las personas sin hogar. Todos los tamaños

de pantalones son apreciados.

La Escuela de San Andres

invita a todos los jovenes

entre 18 y 28 años, a

recibir un anuncio muy

especial que sera

publicado el dia Primero

de Octubre en la misa de la

1:00 p.m. "Esperalo!"

Cada lunes por la mañana, un grupo de miembros

voluntarios de la parroquia limpia la iglesia. Necesitamos

un par de voluntarios para ayudar a aspirar la iglesia.
